To date, only 55 cricketers have played T20 internationals for the Ireland national cricket team. Ireland's national cricket team is currently ranked at number 14 in the ICC men’s T20 internationals ranking and they are one the youngest test-playing nations in the world along with Afghanistan. Both the teams got their test status and became full members of ICC in 2017. Some Irish cricketers made their debut in their late thirties and today we are going to talk about them in this article. 1. Jeremy Bray 

Jeremy Bray is a former Irish cricketer who played as a batter for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the oldest player to make his debut for the Ireland national cricket team. He made his debut at the age of 35 years and 190 days against Bangladesh on 8th June 2009 at Nottingham.

2. Trent Johnston 

Trent Johnston is a former Irish cricketer who played as a bowler for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the second oldest player to make his debut for the Ireland national cricket team in T20 internationals. He made his T20 international debut at the age of 34 years and 95 days against Scotland on 2nd August 2008 in Belfast.

3. Kyle McCallan 

Kyle McCallan is a former Irish cricketer who played as an all-rounder for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the third oldest cricketer to have made his debut for the Ireland national cricket team in T20 internationals. He made his T20 international debut at the age of 32 years and 341 days against Scotland on 2nd August  2008 in Belfast.

4. Andre Botha 

Andre Botha is a former Irish cricketer who played as an all-rounder for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the fourth oldest cricketer to have made his debut for the Ireland national cricket team. He made his debut at the age of 32 years and 325 days against Scotland on 2nd August 2008 in Belfast.

5. John Anderson 

John Anderson is a former Irish cricketer who played as a batter for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the fifth oldest debutant for the Ireland national cricket team. He made his debut at the age of 32 years and 255 days against Scotland at Bready on 18th June 2015.

6. Graham Hume 

Graham Hume is an Irish cricketer who plays as a bowler for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the sixth oldest debutant for the Ireland national cricket team in T20 internationals. He made his T20 international debut on 12th August 2022 against Afghanistan in Belfast at the age of 31 years and 262 days.

7. Simi Singh 

Simi Singh is an Irish cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the seventh oldest debutant for the Ireland national cricket team in T20 internationals. He made his T20 international debut at the age of 31 years and 128 days against the Netherlands on 12th June 2018 in Rotterdam.

8. Reinhardt Strydom 

Reinhardt Strydom is a former Irish cricketer who played as a batter for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the eighth oldest debutant for the Ireland national cricket team. He made his T20 international debut at the age of 31 years and 47 days against Scotland at Belfast on 2nd August 2008.

9. Tim Murtagh 

Tim Murtagh is a former Irish cricketer who played as a bowler for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the ninth oldest debutant for the Ireland national cricket team in T20 internationals. He made his T20 international debut at the age of 30 years and 354 days against Bangladesh on 21st July 2012 in Belfast.

10. Regan West 

Regan West is a former Irish cricketer who played as a bowler for the Ireland national cricket team. He is the tenth oldest debutant for the Ireland national cricket team in T20 internationals. He made his T20 debut at the age of 30 years and 42 days against Bangladesh on 8th June 2009 in Nottingham.
