1. Lasith Malinga

Separamadu Lasith Malinga is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is the only bowler who has scored three hat-tricks in his cricket career. Malinga took his first hat-trick in the World Cup of 2007 against South Africa, where he took not just three but four wickets in a row. His other hat-tricks were against Australia and Kenya in 2011.

2. Wasim Akram

Akram is a former Pakistani cricketer and now a Pakistani cricket commentator and coach. He is a left-arm fast bowler who has taken two hat-tricks in his career. Wasim’s hat-tricks were against West Indies in 1989 and Australia in 1990.

3. Saqlain Mushtaq

Mushtaq is a British Pakistani cricket coach, YouTuber, Head coach of the Pakistani National Cricket team, and former cricketer who played several Test and ODIs for the Pakistani National Cricket team. He, along with Wasim Akram, holds the record of two hat-tricks that he achieved against Zimbabwe in 1996 and 1999.

4. Chaminda Vaas

Warnakulasuriya Patabendige Ushantha Joseph Chaminda Vaas is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and former ODI captain and is often described as the greatest fast bowler of Sri Lanka. Chaminda has taken two hat-tricks against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in 2001 and 2003 respectively.

5. Trent Boult

Trent Alexander Boult is an international cricketer from New Zealand who plays as a bowler for Northern Districts in domestic cricket; he is a left-arm fast-medium opening bowler and a right-handed batsman. Trent has taken two hat-tricks, against Pakistan in 2018 and against Australia in 2019.

6. Hugh Trumble

Trumble was an Australian cricketer who played 32 Test matches as a bowling all-rounder between 1890 and 1904. He was the first bowler to take a hat-trick against England in 1902 and 1904.

7. Jimmy Mathews

Jimmy was an Australian Test cricketer and the only cricketer who has taken two hat-tricks in the same Test match. The hat tricks were taken against South Africa in 1912.

8. Stuart Broad

Stuart Christopher John Broad is a right-arm seam bowler and left-handed batsman English cricketer who plays Test Cricket for the England cricket team and a former One Day and Twenty 20 International captain. Like other cricketers, Stuart has taken two hat-tricks, but his first one was against India in 2011 and against Sri Lanka in 2014.

Federick Robert Spofforth was Australia’s finest pace bowler of the nineteenth century and the first bowler to take 50 Test wickets. Fred was also the first to take a Test hat-trick in 1879, in 2011, he was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

10. Billy Bates

Willie Bates, also known as Billy Bates, was an English cricketer who has scored over 10,000 first-class runs and took more than 870 wickets. Four years after Spofforth took a hat-trick, Billy also took one for England in 1883.
