Wicket-taking is considered one of the most effective options for bowlers in any game format. Nevertheless, in ODI, the bowlers with a sound economy play an essential role in the team's success. They are the unsung heroes who can turn the game's verdict with just one maiden over or wicket-taking. The formulation of ODIs date back to the 1970 s and is one of the three formats of Cricket to attract a large audience. The Canada Cricket Team played its first ODI on 9 June 1979. It was a 60 over match against the Pakistan Cricket Team on the ground of Leeds.
