Canada is an associate member of ICC. Associate Members are the administrative bodies for Cricket of a country recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) or nations associated for cricket purposes, which do not pass as a Full Member, but where Cricket is firmly approved and organized. The formulation of ODIs dates back to the 1970s, and it is one of the three formats of Cricket to attract a large audience. The Canadian Cricket Team played its first ODI on 9 June 1979. It was a 60 over match against the Pakistan Cricket Team on the ground of Leeds. The batters in the Canadian Cricket Team have performed well in ODI matches and have made some high scores in ODIs.

1. Ashish Bagai 

Ashish Bagai is a former right-handed wicketkeeper-batter from Canada who made his ODI debut against Bangladesh at Durban on 11 February 2003. His last game was against the Netherlands at King City on 29 August 2013. He played 62 games and scored 1964 runs in 60 innings with a batting average of 37.76 with two centuries. He scored 137 runs in 172 balls with 12 fours and one six against Scotland at Nairobi.

2. Abdool Mudassar Samad 

Abdool Mudassar Samad is a former right-handed wicketkeeper-batter from Canada who made his ODI debut against New Zealand at Benoni on 3 March 2003 and played his last game against Kenya at King City on 22 August 2009. He played 27 games and scored 740 runs in 27 innings with an average of 29.60 with one century. He scored 130 runs in 125 balls with 12 fours and two sixes against Bermuda at King City.

3. Sandeep Jyoti 

Sandeep Jyoti is a former right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler who made his ODI debut against Bermuda at Toronto on 21 August 2006. His last game against Afghanistan was at Sharjah on 18 February 2010. He played 14 games and scored 264 runs in 13 innings with an average of 22.00 with one century. He scored 117 runs in 122 balls with ten fours and one six against Scotland at Aberdeen.

4. John Michael Davison 

John Michael Davison is a former right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler from Canada. He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh at Durban on 11 February 2003 and sported his last match against Australia at Bengaluru on 16 March 2011. John played 32 games and scored 799 runs in 32 innings with an average of 26.63 with one century. He scored 111 runs in 76 balls with eight fours and six sixes against West Indies.

5. Rizwan Ahmed Cheema 

Rizwan Ahmed Cheema is a former right-handed top-order batter and right-arm medium bowler from Canada who made his ODI debut against Bermuda at King City on 18 August 2008. His last ODI game was against Kenya at ICCA Dubai on 13 March 2013. He played 33 games and scored 764 runs in 32 innings with an average of 24.64. He scored 94 runs in 69 balls with 13 fours and three sixes against the Netherlands at Amstelveen.

6. Ian Shaw Billcliff 

Ian Shaw Billcliff is a former right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler from Canada who made his ODI debut against Bangladesh at Durban on 11 February 2003. His last game was against Ireland at Centurion on 19 April 2009. He played 19 games and scored 529 runs in 19 innings with an average of 27.84. He scored 93 runs in 114 balls with six fours and two sixes against Bangladesh at St John’s.

7. Sunil Dhaniram 

Sunil Dhaniram is a former left-handed batter and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler from Canada. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Port of Spain on 16 May 2006 and played his last game against the Netherlands at Rotterdam on 5 July 2010. He played 44 games and scored 915 runs in 41 innings with an average of 24.72. He scored 92 runs in 88 balls with eight fours against Scotland at Aberdeen.

8. Raza-Ur-Rehman 

Raza-ur-Rehman is a former right-handed batter and left-arm fast-medium bowler who made his ODI debut against Kenya at ICCA Dubai on 11 March 2013 and sported his last game against the Netherlands at Mount Maunganui on 28 January 2014. He played six games and scored 225 runs in five innings with an average of 45.00. He scored 88 runs in 105 balls with 11 fours against the Netherlands at Mount Maunganui.

9. Geoffrey Edward Fulton Barnett 

Geoffrey Edward Fulton Barnett is a former left-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler who made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Port of Spain on 16 May 2006. His last ODI game was against Kenya in Schiedam on 10 July 2010. He played 22 games and scored 455 runs in 22 innings with an average of 20.68. He scored 77 runs in 123 balls with six fours and two sixes against Bangladesh at St John’s.

10. Ruvindu Gunasekera 

Ruvindu Gunasekera is a former left-handed top-order batter and Leg-break googly bowler from Canada who made his ODI debut against Bermuda at King City on 1 July 2008 and sported his last game against the Netherlands at Mount Maunganui on 28 January 2014. He played 19 games and scored 455 runs in 19 innings with an average of 23.94. He scored 72 runs in 112 balls with three fours and three sixes against Kenya at ICCA Dubai.
