10. Steven Smith

Smith made his international debut as a leg spinner, and soon after, he became Australia’s one of the great batsmen in the present generation. He is one of the best in test matches and overall scored 12712 runs from 250 international matches with an average of 50.44. He has a tally of 38 centuries to his name.

9. David Boon

David Boon, hailing from Tasmania was Australia’s most reliable former batsman. His shots were classic yet stylish and he always accumulated the runs when Australia required the most. Boon debuted in 1984 and played 288 international matches (Tests+ ODIs), and scored 13386 runs with an average of over 40.44. His highest score was 200 runs. He has a  total of twenty-six centuries to his name.

8. David Warner

David Warner has been a vital performer for team Australia. He has a record of making an international debut without playing a single first-class game. Warner is the most prominent batsman for Australia in all formats. He scored 15031 runs from 295 games with an average of 43.69. He also has 43 centuries across all the arrangements.

7. Matthew Hayden

Steve knew only two things during his captaincy period- that is to win and sleep. Steve played 493 international games and scored a tally of 18496 runs with an average of 41.65.
