1. Glenn McGrath

Glenn McGrath, a right-arm fast medium bowler from Dubbo, New South Wales, is the one to top our list. McGrath played his first one-day international in 1993 against South Africa at Melbourne. He played in 250 matches and picked up 381 wickets at an average of 22.02 with 279 maidens to his name, the second-highest total for any bowler in ODI cricket.

2. Brett Lee

Brett Lee was a right-arm fast bowler for Australia who hailed from New South Wales. Lee was a part of the Australian one-day team from 2000 to 2012, playing in a total of 221 matches. He picked up 380 wickets in 217 innings at an average of 23.36 and bowled 141 maiden overs during his career.

3. Shane Warne

Shane Warne, the right-arm leg spinner from Ferntree Gully, Victoria, played for Australia in one-day cricket from 1993 to 2005. Warne played in 194 one-day internationals and took 293 wickets at an average of 25.73, bowling 110 maiden overs in 191 innings. He bowled a total of 10,642 balls during his ODI career.

4. Craig McDermott

Craig McDermott was a right-arm fast bowler from Queensland who first played a one-day match for Australia in 1985 against the West Indies at Melbourne. Craig played in 138 ODIs and picked up 203 wickets at an average of 24.71. He bowled 101 maiden overs during his career. In 1996, he played his last match against Kenya at Visakhapatnam.

5. Geoff Lawson

Geoff Lawson was a right-arm fast bowler for Australia who played in one-day internationals from 1980 to 1989. Lawson represented Australia in 79 matches and picked up 88 wickets at an average of 29.45. He took a total of 94 maiden overs during his ODI career. In 1989, he played his last match against India at Bengaluru.

6. Nathan Bracken

Nathan Bracken was a left-arm fast medium bowler from New South Wales. Bracken played his first one-day international game in 2001 against the West Indies at Melbourne. He played in 116 ODIs and took 174 wickets at an average of 24.36. He bowled 90 maiden overs during his ODI career. In 2009, he played his last match against England at Nottingham.

7. Paul Reiffel

Paul Reiffel was a right-arm fast medium bowler for Australia during the 1990s. Paul is currently an official elite ICC umpire. In 1992, he played his first one-day international against India at Sydney and, until 1999, played in 92 matches, picking up 106 wickets. He bowled 83 maiden overs during his 50-over career.

8. Jason Gillespie 80

Jason Gillespie was a right-arm fast bowler from Sydney, New South Wales, who first played for Australia in one-day cricket in 1996. His first ODI was against Sri Lanka at Colombo, and until 2005, he played in a total of 97 ODIs and picked up 142 wickets at an average of 25.42. In 96 innings, he bowled 80 maiden overs and a total of 5144 balls.

9. Dennis Lille 80

Dennis Lille was a right-arm fast bowler from Perth, Western Australia. Dennis played his first one-day international for Australia in 1972 against England at Manchester. He took 103 wickets at an average of 20.82 in 63 ODIs, with the best bowling figures of 5 for 34. He bowled 80 maiden overs during his ODI career.

10. Terry Alderman 75

Terry Alderman was a right-arm fast medium bowler who hailed from Perth and first played for Australia in ODIs in 1981 against England at Birmingham. Terry played in 65 matches and picked up 88 wickets at an average of 23.36 and an economy rate of 3.65. He bowled 75 maiden overs during his ODI career. He played his final One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand in Melbourne in 1991.
