From 1887 to 2021, they have topped the bowling ranking table in every era of cricket and would continue to do so. They have produced many bowlers to go past 200+ test wickets.

1. SK Warne

Shane Keith Warne is a former Leg-break googly bowler and played his first test match on 2 January 1992 against India at Sydney. Warne is a legendary spin bowler who took 708 test wickets in his 145 games with an average of 25.41 with an economy of 2.65 with 37 5-wicket hauls and ten 10-wicket hauls. On 2 January 2007, he played his last match against England in Sydney.

2. GD McGrath

Glenn Donald McGrath is a former right-arm fast-medium bowler and an Australian legend. He played his first test against New Zealand in Perth on 12 November 1993. He played 124 matches took 563 wickets with an average of 21.64 and an economy of 2.49 with 29 5-wickets hauls and three 10-wickets hauls. Glenn played his last game on 2 January 2007 against England in Sydney.

3. NM Lyon

Nathan Michael Lyon is a right-arm off-break bowler in the current squad. The cricketer played his first test match against Sri Lanka at Galle on 31 August 2011. Lyon has now played 100 test matches and taken 399 wickets with an average of 32.12 with an economy of 2.99 with 18 5-wicket hauls and three 10-wicket hauls.

4. DK Lillee

Dennis Keith Lillee is a former right-arm fast bowler in the Australian team. He played his first match against England at Adelaide on 29 January 1971 and played his last game on 2 January 1984 against Pakistan. Lillee played 70 games and took 355 wickets with an average of 23.92 and an economy of 2.75 with 23 5-wicket hauls and seven 10-wicket hauls.

5. MG Johnson

Mitchell Guy Johnson is a former left-arm fast bowler of the Australian side. Midge played his first test against Sri Lanka at Brisbane on 8 November 2007 and his last match on 13 November 2015 against New Zealand at Perth. He played 73 games and took 313 wickets with an average of 28.40 and an economy of 3.33 with 12 5-wicket hauls and three 10-wicket hauls.

6. Brett Lee

Brett Lee is a former right-arm fast bowler who made his test debut on 26 December 1999 against India in Melbourne. He played 76 games and took 310 wickets with an average of 30.81 and an economy of 3.46 with ten 5-wicket hauls. In Melbourne, the bowler played his last match against South Africa on 26 December 2008.

7. CJ McDermott

Craig John McDermott is a former right-arm fast bowler. He made his test debut on 22 December 1984 against West Indies at Melbourne. John played 71 matches and took 291 wickets with an average of 28.63 and an economy of 3.01 with 14 5-wicket hauls and two 10-wicket hauls. His match against Sri Lanka at Adelaide on 25 January 1996 was his last test match.

8. JN Gillespie

Jason Neil Gillespie is a former right-arm fast bowler in the Australian cricket team who made his test debut against West Indies in Sydney on 29 November 1996. The bowler took 259 wickets in 71 games with an average of 26.13 with an economy of 2.85 with eight 5-wicket hauls. He played his last match on 16 April 2006 against Bangladesh at Chattogram.

9. MA Starc

Mitchell Aaron Starc is a left-arm fast bowler who made his test debut on 1 December 2011 against New Zealand at Brisbane. Starc took 255 wickets in 61 matches with an average of 27.57 with an economy of 3.35 with 13 5-wicket hauls and two 10-wicket hauls.

10. R Benaud

Richard Benaud was a former Leg-break googly bowler in the Australian side who played his first match against West Indies at Sydney on 25 January 1952 and his last game against South Africa at Sydney on 7 February 1964. Benaud played 63 games and took 248 wickets with an average of 27.03 and an economy of 2.10 with 16 5-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket haul.
