Twenty20 International Cricket or T20I is one of the game's three formats. First introduced in 2005, the game involves two international members of the ICC who play a maximum of 20 overs. The format also observes a compulsory power play in the first six overs. In 2005, the Australian men's and women's cricket team played their first international T20 match. The team has the support of fans from all over the world, especially from their native country.

1. EA Perry

Ellyse Alexandra Perry is a right-hand batter and right-arm fast-medium all-rounder in the current squad in the Women's cricket team. She made her debut on 1 February 2008 against England at Melbourne. She holds the record of most matches played in T20 international in both men's and women's cricket. EA Perry also holds the record of 2nd most wickets in a career with 115 dismissals. Perry has played 126 matches and scored 1253 runs with an average of 27.84, and also taken 115 wickets with an average of 19.45.

2. AJ Healy

Alyssa Jean Healy is a right-hand wicketkeeper batter in the current squad in the Women's cricket team and made her T20I debut on 21 February 2010 against New Zealand at Hobart. The batter holds the record for most runs in an innings with 148 runs. It is also the maximum number of runs scored in an innings by a wicketkeeper. AJ Healy has the records of 96 dismissals, 52 stumpings, and 44 catches which is the highest by a wicketkeeper. She played 121 matches and scored 2129 runs with an average of 24.19.

3. MM Lanning

Meghann Moira Lanning is a right-hand top-order batter in the current squad in the Women's cricket team who made her debut against New Zealand at Nelson on 30 December 2010. She holds the record of 3rd most runs in her career with 2943 runs and 2nd most runs in an innings with 133 runs. Lanning has played 113 matches and scored 2943 runs with an average of 35.45 with two centuries.

4. AJ Blackwell

Alexandra Joy Blackwell is a former right-hand batter and right-arm medium bowler. She was an all-rounder in the Australian squad, made her debut against England on 2 September 2005, and played her last match on 22 February 2017 against New Zealand at Adelaide. Blackwell played 95 games and scored 1314 runs with an average of 21.19.

5. JL Jonassen

Jessica Louise Jonassen is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler in the current squad who made her T20I debut against New Zealand at Sydney on 20 January 2012. She played 85 matches and took 74 wickets with an average of 20.12.

6. DA Warner

David Andrew Warner is a left-hand batter in the current squad. He made his T20I debut against South Africa at Melbourne on 11 January 2009. He holds the record of most T20I matches played by an Australian in Men's cricket with 81 games and has scored 2265 runs with an average of 31.45 and one century.

7. AJ Finch

Aaron James Finch is a right-hand top-order batter and the captain of the current T20I team who made his debut on 12 January 2011 against England at Adelaide. Finch holds the record for most runs in an innings with 172 runs. He has played 76 games and scored 2473 runs with an average of 37.46 and two centuries.

8. RL Haynes

Rachael Louise Haynes is a left-hand batter in the current squad. She made her T20I debut against New Zealand at Hobart on 21 February 2010. She played 73 matches and scored 793 runs with an average of 26.43.

9. Megan Schutt

Megan Schutt is a right-arm fast-medium bowler in the current Australian women's squad who made her T20I debut on 22 January 2013 against New Zealand at Melbourne. She holds the record of 3rd most T20I wickets by bowling out the player that is 30 wickets. She played 73 matches and has taken 96 wickets with an average of 15.35.

10. GJ Maxwell

Glenn James Maxwell is a right-hand batter and right-arm off-break bowler who is a batting all-rounder in the current squad. Maxwell played his first T20I match on 5 September 2012 against Pakistan in Dubai and has played 72 games. He has smashed 1780 runs with an average of 31.78. with three centuries and has taken 31 wickets.
