Wicket-keeper is the most critical fielder on the ground, and nowadays, he provides essential opinions for reviewing umpire's decisions. Mushfiqur Rahim and Khaled Mashud are the only wicketkeepers from Bangladesh with long careers. There have been many cricketers from Bangladesh who tried wicket-keeping but couldn't last long. Today, we will list the top ten wicket-keepers of Bangladesh with the most dismissals in their career. Records are as per the date 11 April 2022.

10. Hafizur Rahman

Hafizur Rahman is a former wicket-keeper with the shortest international career from Bangladesh. He played only two One Day internationals which were against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the year 1986. Hafizur has only two dismissals as a wicket-keeper in his short career, and it brings him into the tenth position on the list.

9. Jahurul Islam

Jahurul Islam is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He played his first international match as a test against England in 2010. Jahurul played his last international (ODI) match against Zimbabwe in 2013. He is in the ninth position on the list with four dismissals as a wicket-keeper.

8. Mohammad Salim

Mohammed Salim is a Bangladeshi right-handed wicket-keeper batsman who played in one ODI and two tests in 2003. He played those three International matches against South Africa and overall scored 58 runs. As a wicket-keeper, Salim has five dismissals in his career. That brings him into the eighth position on the list.

7. Imrul Kayes

Imrul Kayes is a left-handed opening batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. In 2017, he played a Test against New Zealand as a substitute wicket-keeper and took five dismissals. It became a record as the most discharges by a substitute wicket-keeper in an innings of a test match. Kayes is in the seventh position on the list with five releases in his career.

6. Anamul Haque

Anamul Haque is a right-handed opening batsman and a wicket-keeper. He played his first international match (ODI) against West Indies in November 2012. In ODIs, Haque scored over 1000 runs with three centuries and three half-centuries. As a wicket-keeper, he has had seven dismissals throughout his career. That brings him into the sixth position on the list.

5. Dhiman Ghosh

Dhiman Ghosh is a first-class right-handed wicket-keeper batsman who represented Bangladesh in 14 ODIs and a T20I in 2008. He played in the series against Ireland, Pakistan, South Africa, and Australia. After the return of Mushfiqur Rahim, he didn't get selected for the national side. He is on the fifth spot on the list for his 14 dismissals as a wicket-keeper.

4. Nurul Hasan

Nurul Hasan is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman who made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in 2016. He was a member of Bangladesh's squad for ICC Men's World T20 2021. Nurul has only a half-century on the international level. With 36 dismissals taken as a wicket-keeper, he makes it into the fourth position on the list.

3. Liton Das

Liton Das is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman who represents Bangladesh in all three formats of cricket. He has the highest individual score by a Bangladeshi cricketer in ODIs (176). Das made his debut in all three formats in June and July 2015. He is on the third spot with 72 dismissals as a wicket-keeper.

2. Khaled Mashud

Khaled Mashud is a former right-handed middle-order batsman and a wicket-keeper. He was the captain of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team from 1995 to 2007 in tests and ODIs. As a batsman, he scored over 3000 runs with one century and ten half-centuries. He has 213 dismissals as a wicket-keeper, and that brings him into the second position on the list.

1. Mushfiqur Rahim

Mushfiqur Rahim is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman and the only Bangladeshi international cricketer to win 150 matches. He is the former captain and vice-captain of his national team. Rahim has the record for the most number of double hundreds by a wicket-keeper batter in test cricket history. Being the most successful wicket-keeper for Bangladesh, he is in the top position on the list with 422 dismissals.
