The powerful position on the cricket board has been held by a total of 38 people, including Binny since the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was established in 1928. In the past, a few politicians and businesspeople have also held the position in addition to cricket players.

1. Roger Binny

Roger Binny was chosen to serve as the new BCCI president of the board at the organization's 2022 annual general meeting. In the meantime, Jay Shah has been kept on as the board's secretary. Binny was a member of the Indian team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Between 1979 and 1987, he participated in 27 Tests and 72 ODIs before retiring. As a batsman, Binny amassed 629 ODI runs and 830 Test runs to go along with his 47 Test wickets and 77 ODI wickets as a bowler. 2. Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly, a former India captain, was elected BCCI President in 2019. He served as President of the Cricket Association of Bengal from 2015 to October 2019. According to a few news websites, Ganguly wanted to remain president but he didn't receive enough votes. He was also given the chance to be the IPL chairman, but he declined.

3. Shashank Manohar

Shashank Manohar, like Srinivasan, served as BCCI President twice, from November 2015 to May 2016 and from 2008 to 2011. He had presided over the Vidarbha Cricket Association before becoming president of the BCCI. India became the top-ranked Test team and claimed the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup during his time with the BCCI. In addition, Manohar presided over the ICC from 2015 to 2017.

4. N Srinivasan

N Srinivasan served as BCCI president from 2011 to 2013 and again from 2013 to 2014. Before assuming the office of President in 2011, he served as the B CCI’s Secretary. Chennai Super Kings is an IPL franchise team owned by Srinivasan's business, India Cements. Srinivasan also serves as the head of the Tamil Nadu Golf Federation and the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. Srinivasan was appointed as the ICC's first chairman in June 2014, but he was fired the following year. Spot-fixing forced Srinivasan to leave his position with the BCCI, and he did so in June 2013.

5. Jagmohan Dalmiya

Only Jagmohan Dalmiya has held the position of BCCI president for three different terms. In 1979, Dalmiya joined the BCCI as the Cricket Association of Bengal's delegate. He was appointed the board's treasurer in 1983. He was chosen to serve as the ICC's President in 1997, a position he held for three years. Dalmiya was elected ICC president, becoming the first non-cricketer and the first Asian. In 2001, Dalmiya won the BCCI presidency for the first time. After N. Srinivasan resigned as BCCI president due to the IPL spot-fixing incident in June 2013, Dalmiya was named as the organization's acting president. 6. Raymond Eustace Grant Govan

The first President of the BCCI was Raymond Eustace Grant Govan. The British businessman served as managing director of Govan Bros. Ltd., a prestigious organization that oversaw agents for a variety of industrial businesses. Additionally, he was the brains behind the 1933 founding of the aircraft firm Indian National Airways Ltd. Govan, a sports enthusiast, served as both the Cricket Club of India's president and the president from 1928 to 1933.

7. Sharad Pawar

Outside of politics, Pawar held the positions as the president of the International Cricket Council from 2010 - 2012 and chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India from 2005 to 2008. From October 2013 to January 2017, he presided over the Mumbai Cricket Association as president.

8. Inderjit Singh Bindra

Bindra served as BCCI President from 1993 to 1996 after being elected to the position. The Indian subcontinent hosted the Cricket World Cup in 1987 and 1996 thanks to Bindra and Jagmohan Dalmiya. When Sharad Pawar served as the organization's president, Bindra also served as the chief advisor to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

9. Anurag Thakur

Five stadiums, including the international Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, were built during his administration. 10. BN Dutt

After serving as the parent organization's vice president for six years, from 1982 to 1988, Dutt was elected president of the BCCI in 1989. He was 92.
