10. Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh had an ODI career spanning 17 years. He took 269 wickets. He was a part of the World Cup winning squad in 2011 and was instrumental in many victories for India throughout his ODI career.

Harbhajan Singh had played 236 ODIs in his career.

9. Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag was one of the best openers India ever had in One Day Internationals. He had a particular trademark of his own, that of hitting the first ball of the innings for a four. He was the second player to score an individual double century for in ODIs.

Virender Sehwag had played 251 ODIs in his career.

8. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is a close contender with Sachin Tendulkar for the title of ‘Best Indian ODI batsman of all time’. He has scored 43 ODI centuries till now and has racked up massive numbers across his career. Since the 2013 Champions Trophy, he along with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have together formed a rock-solid top order for India in ODIs.

Virat Kohli has played 260 ODIs in his career.

7. Anil Kumble

Anil Kumble is the leading wicket taker for India in ODIs. He has taken 337 ODI wickets which includes 2 five-wicket hauls. When Kumble took 6-12 against West Indies in 1993, it was the best bowling figures by an Indian in ODIs. The record stayed on for more than 20 years until it was eventually broken in 2014.

Anil Kumble had played 271 ODIs in his career.

6. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh was a former Indian all-rounder. His ODI talent was held in high regards even before his debut. He made his debut in 2000 as a teenager and since then he was involved in many memorable moments in ODIs which include Natwest Trophy 2002 finals, 2011 World Cup and so on. He was the player of the tournament when India won the 2011 World Cup.

Yuvraj Singh had played 304 ODIs in his career.

5. Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly was the captain of the Indian team in the 2000s.He captained the Indian team to the finals in the 2003 World Cup when India ended up as runners up. Ganguly’s 183 against Sri Lanka in the 1999 World Cup became the highest score by an Indian until it was broken later that year by Sachin.

Sourav Ganguly had played 311 ODIs in his career.

4. Mohammad Azharuddin

Mohammad Azharuddin was a batsman from Hyderabad who played for India. He had a successful career going on for him due to his immense natural talent and the extraordinary flair with which he played his shots. He scored 7 centuries over the course of his ODI career.

Mohammad Azharuddin had played 334 ODIs in his career.

3. Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid had a long career in ODIs. At one point of time, he started taking up gloves in ODIs, in order to accommodate an extra batsman in the lineup. Despite not being a regular keeper, he was upto task and was playing as the designated keeper till Dhoni became a stable part of the ODI lineup. He has scored more than 10000 runs in his ODI career.

2. MS Dhoni

Of all three formats, the one in which MS Dhoni played his best was ODI. Apart from his innumerable finishes and collapse rescues, he was a brilliant captain. He was also excellent behind the stumps and has pulled off some blinders in his stumpings.

Sachin Tendulkar has played the highest number of ODIs, not only among Indian players but also across the world. He has also scored the highest amount of runs in One Day Internationals. He has scored 18426 ODI runs. He has scored 49 centuries in ODIs and it is also the record for the highest number of ODI centuries.

Sachin Tendulkar had played 463 ODIs in his career.
