2. New Zealand team Helping Injured Batsman in the field at ICC Under 19 World Cup
In the ICC under 19 World Cups, an incident happened due to which a Batsman of the West Indies team was injured. The match was between the West Indies and New Zealand teams. The batsman, Kirk Mckenzie was unable to walk. Then the New Zealand players, Jesse Tashkoff and Joseph Field, carried him outside the field. New Zealand team won the match against West Indies team only by five runs. The West Indies player Carlos Brathwaite was heartbroken and in deep sorrow. The valiant effort taken by him was of no use because they lost the World Cup. Looking at this, Ross Taylor, Kane Williamson, and Jimmy Neesham spent more than a moment talking to Brathwaite as he sank to his knees on the pitch after the cruel defeat. Vettori came in the way of Malcolm Waller, at non-striker’s end, to prevent the opposite team from running. There had been a collision accident, which was later gestured by Vettori.
