One Day International matches emerged during the 1970s and is currently the most-watched game format. The ODI is a summit of 50 overs and involves a game between two international teams. The Pakistan cricket team played its first ODI game against New Zealand in 1973. The ICC bowling ratings reveal the top-ranking bowlers who have proved their dominance in every match. It lists the players based on a point method where each player is allocated points out of 1000. Then the mean is computed for all the ODI matches played throughout the concerned session.

1. Wasim Akram

Wasim Akram is a former left-arm fast bowler of the Pakistani squad. He made his ODI debut on 23 November 1984 against New Zealand at Faisalabad and his last match on 4 March 2003 against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. Wasim played 356 games and took 502 wickets with an average of 23.52 with an economy of 3.89 with six 5-wicket hauls. He achieved his career-best rating of 851 against South Africa on 16 October 1994.

2. Saeed Ajmal

Saeed Ajmal is a former right-hand off-break bowler who played his first ODI match on 2 July 2008 against India at Karachi and his last game against Bangladesh at Dhaka on 19 April 2015. Ajmal played 113 games and took 184 wickets with an average of 22.72 with an economy of 4.18 with two 5-wicket hauls. He achieved his career-best rating of 810 against South Africa on 15 March 2013.

3. Saqlain Mushtaq

Saqlain Mushtaq is a former right-arm off-break bowler who made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka at Gujranwala on 29 September 1995 and his last match on 7 October 2003 against South Africa in Faisalabad. Saqlain played 169 games and took 288 wickets with an average of 21.78 and an economy of 4.29 with six 5-wicket hauls. He attained his career-best rating of 805 against West Indies on 14 January 1997.

4. Imran Khan Niazi

Imran Khan Niazi is a former world cup winning all-rounder from Pakistan who made his ODI appearance on 31 August 1974 facing England at Nottingham and his last match on 25 March 1992 against England at Melbourne. Imran played 175 games and took 182 wickets with an average of 26.61 and an economy of 3.89 with one 5-wicket haul. He achieved his career-best rating of 780 against England on 20 October 1987.

5. Abdul Qadir Khan

Abdul Qadir Khan was a former Leg-break googly bowler who made his ODI debut on 11 June 1983 against New Zealand at Birmingham and his last match on 2 November 1993 against Sri Lanka at Sharjah. Abdul played 104 games and took 132 wickets with an average of 26.16 and an economy of 4.06 with two 5-wicket hauls. He achieved his career-best rating of 779 against England on 20 November 1987.

6. Waqar Younis Maitla

Waqar Younis Maitla is a former right-arm fast bowler from Pakistan who made his ODI debut on 14 October 1989 against West Indies at Sharjah. His last match was on 4 March 2003 against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Waqar played 262 games and took 416 wickets with a bowling average of 23.84 and an economy of 4.68. He took 13 five-wicket hauls and achieved his career-best rating of 778 against West Indies on 21 October 1991.

7. Mohammad Hafeez

Mohammad Hafeez is a right-arm off-break all-rounder in the current squad. He made his ODI debut on 3 April 2003 against Zimbabwe at Sharjah. Hafeez played 218 games and took 139 wickets with an average of 38.84 and an economy of 4.18. He achieved his career-best rating of 769 against India on 3 January 2013.

8. Hasan Ali

Hasan Ali is a right-arm fast-medium bowler in the current squad. He made his ODI debut on 18 August 2016 against Ireland in Dublin. Ali played 57 games and took 89 wickets with an average of 29.32 and an economy of 5.71 with four 5-wicket hauls. He achieved his career-best rating of 766 against New Zealand on 16 January 2018.

9. Azhar Mahmood Sagar

Azhar Mahmood Sagar is a former right-arm fast-medium bowler who made his ODI debut on 16 September 1996 against India in Toronto and his last match on 17 March 2007 against Ireland at Kingston. Azhar played 143 games and took 123 wickets with an average of 39.13 and an economy of 4.62 with three 5-wicket hauls. He achieved his career-best rating of 748 against Sri Lanka on 22 October 1999.

10. Sarfraz Nawaz Malik

Sarfraz Nawaz Malik is a former right-arm fast-medium bowler who made his ODI debut on 11 February 1973 against New Zealand at Christchurch and his last match on 12 November 1984 against New Zealand at Peshawar. Sarfraz played 45 games and took 63 wickets with an average of 23.22 and an economy of 3.63. He achieved his career-best rating of 744 against West Indies on 12 January 1984.
