Nicknamed the Proteas, the South African women's Cricket team represents South Africa in women’s cricket. Known for their brilliant performance in the sport, they support fans from every corner of the world. 2. Lizelle Lee 

Lizelle Lee is a right-hand batsman and also an opener of the team. She made her debut on 20 September 2013 against Bangladesh at Benoni. Lee has played 93 matches and scored 3234 in 92 innings with an average of 38.50.

3. Trisha Chetty 

Trisha Chetty is a right-hand batsman and also a wicket-keeper for the team. She made her debut on 20 January 2007 against Pakistan at Pretoria. Chetty played 119 matches and scored 2599 runs in 103 innings with an average of 29.20.

4. Laura Wolvaardt 

Laura Wolvaardt is a right-hand batsman and also an opener for the team. She made her debut on 7 February 2016 against England at Benoni.  Wolvaardt has played 62 matches and scored 2311 runs in 61 innings with an average of 44.44.

5. Dane Van Niekerk 

Dane van Niekerk is a right-hand batsman and an all-rounder for the team. She made her debut on 8 March 2009 against West Indies at Newcastle. Niekerk has played 107 matches and scored 2175 runs in 84 innings with an average of 36.25.

6. Marizanne Kapp 

Marizanne Kapp is a right-hand batsman and an all-rounder for the team. She made her debut on 10 March 2009 against Australia at Newcastle. Kapp has played 118 matches and scored 2017 runs in 98 innings with an average of 28.81.

7. Cri-Zelda Brits 

Cri-Zelda Brits is a former right-hand batsman. She made her debut on 7 March 2002 against India at Johannesburg. Brit has played 69 matches and scored 1622 runs in 63 innings with an average of 28.96. She played her last game on 15 February 2013 against Sri Lanka at Cuttak.

8. Sune Luus 

Sune Luus is a right-hand batsman and an all-rounder in the South African cricket team. She played her debut match on 6 September 2012 against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Luss played 88 games and scored 1261 runs in 71 innings with an average of 21.74.

9. Magdalena Terblanche 

Magdalena Terblanche is a former right-hand batsman and a wicket-keeper in the South African cricket team. On 5 August 1997, she played her debut match against Ireland in Belfast. Terblanche has played 61 games and scored 1256 runs in 59 innings. Her average was 23.69. Her last game was on 14 August 2008 against England at Shenley.

10. Chloe-Lesleigh Tryon
