The West Indies women’s national cricket team, well-known as the Windies, is a combined team of cricketers from various countries in the Caribbean that takes part in international women’s cricket. The West Indies women’s national cricket team is governed by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), a member of the ICC, which represents a total of fifteen countries and territories. At the ICC World T20, the women’s squad won its first title at the tournament of 2016, having made the semi-finals in each of the preceding tournaments.
