Any format of cricket has crucial phases in the game, from using powerplay conventionally to bowling hard and tight in death overs. Just like these phases, finishing is another factor that plays a big role in match results. Team, especially in T20 cricket, always pray to have one impact batsman who can finish innings on a high note.

IPL 2022 is about to start in a few days. Almost all teams have managed to pick a top-class decent finisher who can add a few handy runs in the last overs.

1. Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians are going with the best set of finishers. This list featured Pollard and Tim David, both batters can easily add 40-50 runs in death overs. Pollard has proven his worth in this franchise cricket. David is coming up with full confidence.

2. Kolkata Knight Riders

The Kolkata having the best finisher is none other than Andre Russell. The Caribbean player has tremendous power-hitting skills. Especially in the last overs. It will be interesting to see whether Venkatesh is going to play. If he plays as a finisher, Kolkata will have the best finisher in this tournament.

3. Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals let go their two most prominent finishers, Hetmyer and Stoinis. Fortunately, they still has one of the best finishers in this IPL. Delhi have two big names at 4 and 5 in the form of Pant and Powell. If both manage to fire, no one can stop Delhi from scoring big totals.

4. Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings, despite having a solid team, has always disappointed their fans in the last seven years. This year Punjab is looking different. The Addition of a few impact players is making this team more impactful. This team has one of the best finishing core in the form of Livingston and Shahrukh khan.

5. Lucknow Supergiants

The Lucknow Supergiants are excited to play their maiden IPL edition. This team is already looking like a champion side on paper. This team showed an excellent mindset and picked up Stoinis, one of the best T20 all-rounders of this time. Apart from him this team has Holder, Hooda and Krunal.

6. Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings is going to defend their championship. The winner of last year's edition is looks like the most experienced side of this season. However, Jadeja might be left with most work as a finisher. Dhoni and Bravo aren't batting at their prime.

7. Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals have managed to pick a strong Indian core in this year's auction. This team is looking perfect on paper, but finishing is something that might scare this team at some point. Royals has just one finisher, Hetmyer the rest all are not looking promising one.

8. Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB always starts their IPL campaign with full of positive intent, but they always leave short of a trophy due to some reasons. RCB is looking like a decent team on paper. But their number 6,7 batting is not looking threatened for any bowling.

9. Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans didn't have a good IPL auction. This team fails to impress everyone, unlike Lucknow, who picked up top-level players in the auction. Gujarat has just one finisher in the form of Hardik. Not to forget Hardik is also struggling with his form.

10. Sunrisers Hyderabad

Hyderabad is sitting at the bottom on this list. This team isn't looking like a tournament-winning team on paper. One reason behind this is not having a trusted finisher. Youngsters Abdul Samad has shown spark in the last two IPL seasons, but he can feel more pressure this season.
