Pune Warriors made their first appearance in IPL in the 2011 edition. The Indian destructive all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was the captain of the Pune Warriors in their first season. BCCI terminated them in the 2014 season because they failed to give a bank guarantee of Rs 170.2 crores, and also they failed continuously for three seasons.
