1. Ish Sodhi

Ish Sodhi is a leg-spinner bowler from Ludhiana, who plays for New Zealand. Ish Sodhi is a player of Indian descent who moved to New Zealand along with his family at the age of 4. This Kiwi player has played- 97 T20I, 14 ODI and 19 Test Matches for New Zealand. Apart from this Ish Sodhi debuted in Indian Premier League in 2018 for Rajasthan Royals. To date, he has taken 9 wickets in 8 matches with an average of 22.44. Rajasthan Royals for the year 2023 registered Ish Sodhi in 75 lakhs. His best IPL bowling figure is 3/26.

2. Hashim Amla

Hashim Amla is one of the legendary players of South Africa. This Right-handed batsman has his roots in Gujarat. He was born in Durban, South Africa, however, his family moved to Gujarat for a few years and then got back to Durban. He is one of the greatest South African starts,  he holds several incredible records, and he is the only South African who scored a triple Test century. The fastest cricketer to reach 10 ODI centuries is him. He made his IPL debut in 2016 and played for Kings XI Punjab (2016-2017). In 2017, he was the leading batsman of KXIP, he hit two centuries against Mumbai Indian (105*) and Gujarat Lions (104).

3. Ravi Bopara

Ravi Bopara is an English Player of Indian Origin. He was born in an immigrant Indian Sikh family, He is an all-rounder playing for England Cricket Team. He has played 13 Tests, 120 ODI and 38 T20I matches. He holds the record of having no ducks in his T20I career (35).  He was a part of KXIP (2009-2010) and Sunrises Hyderabad franchise (2015). His highest run score of 84 came against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009.

4. Muttiah Muralitharan

Muttiah Muralitharan was born into a Tamil family in Sri Lanka He even holds Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI). Undoubtedly he is a right-arm off-break bowler and is regarded as one of the legends, his stats, performances and records are bewitching. He holds the world record of taking 800 Test wickets in just 133 Test matches and 534 wickets in 350 ODI matches. He has played 7 seasons of IPL for three franchises, Royal Challengers Bangalore (2012-2014), Chennai Super Kings (2008-2010) and Kochi Tuskers Kerala (2011). He played 66 matches and took 63 wickets, with an economy of 6.68 and an average of 26.92. His best bowling figure was 3/11.

5. Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine was born in Trinidad and Tobago. Although being born in another country, has his roots in India. Sunil Narine is a bowling all-rounder of the West Indians cricket team. Sunil Narine has played more than 155 IPL matches and his best bowling figure is 5/19 Vs KXIP, 2012. While in 2018, he stunned everyone with his batting again KXIP and scored 75 (36). He is regarded as a T20 specialist and one of the best spinners.

6. Ramnaresh Sarwan

Ramnaresh Sarwan is an Indo-Guyanese batsman. He made his debut against Pakistan in 2000. He scored 84 runs in 232 balls, where he batted at 6 number. He played only one season of IPL in 2008 for KXIP.

7. Ravi Rampaul

Ravi Rampaul was born in Trinidad and Tobago, he too belonged to an Indian family. He was a right-arm fast-medium bowler, he played 92 ODI where he took 117 wickets, and his best was 5/49. He played two IPL seasons (2013-2014), for Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise.

8. Shivnarine Chanderpaul

Shivnarine Chanderpaul was the former West Indian captain and one of the legendary cricketers of the West Indies. He was a left-handed top scoring test cricketer. He has several records that he made in international cricket and one such record is for the most runs by a batsman, batting at No. 5. He played only one season of IPL in 2008 for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

9. Ajaz Patel

Ajaz Patel is a  slow orthodox spin bowler playing for the New Zealand cricket team. Ajaz Patel came to the limelight when with his spectacular performance he took all 10 wickets in a Test Innings against India in 2021. Ajaz Patel gave his name in the 2022 IPL and in an interview, he stated his wish to play for Mumbai Indian Franchise. However, he couldn’t make it to IPL 2022.

10. Rachin Ravindra

Rachin Ravindra is a New Zealand cricketer of Indian origin. He made his debut on 1 September 2021 against Bangladesh. Rachin Ravindra was named after Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar, as his name is a mixture of these two names. He has shown his interest to play IPL and is ready to participate whenever he is welcomed by any team.
