There are lots of cricketers associated with the game of cricket. However, some players are still playing, who began their international careers in the 90s. So, here are some of those cricketers who are still in the game.

1. Shoaib Malik

He was born in 1982 in Pakistan. He debuted as a 17-year-old player in the year 1999. He began his career as a spinner and a number eleven batsman, but in the latter half of his career, he established himself as a successful batsman. He also played his role as the captain of the Pakistan team. Now talking about the national league of Pakistan, which is the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he represented the Peshawar Zalmi team. He is an important player for the Pakistan team and will continue to play in the coming years ahead. He will also be playing in this year's T20 World Cup.

2. Chris Gayle

Everybody knows him as The 'Universe Boss' as he is a fabulous player of T20s and a six-hitter machine. Christopher Henry Gayle was born in the year 1979 and is a Jamaican. He, too, belongs to the 90s, as he started his career in 1999 against the Indian team. From 2007 to 2010, he was the captain of the West Indies team. He played almost all the major leagues of the T20 format and held most of the records in this format. His performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL), won him a lot of supporters in India. He is also known for his humorous nature. He will play a supreme role in this year's T20 World Cup for the West Indies.

3. Harbhajan Singh

The fiery off-spinner made his debut in the year 1998 and had played a major role in the One Day International World Cup 2011. He was born in 1980 and plays all forms of cricket. After 2012, he struggled to get a place in the Indian cricket team as Ashwin and Jadeja took over the role of spinners. He also played IPL for Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders. Nowadays, he’s seen as a commentator and he keeps sharing his experience with other players. He will be seen playing in the IPL, during October.

4. Mithali Raj

The player who took women's cricket to another level was born in the year 1982 and has been playing since 1999. She is the mainstay of Indian Women's Cricket and a very experienced cricketer. She has scored more runs than any other player in women's cricket. She has many national awards with her, such as the Arjuna Award, the Padma Shri Award, etc. During the 2017 ODI World Cup, she surpassed former England captain Charlotte Edwards to become the highest run-scorer in ODIs and the first woman to score 6000 runs. In October 2019, at the age of 36, Mithali Raj became the first woman to complete two decades of ODI. She is still playing in the team and shares her experience with the younger player.
