The 15th edition of IPL is all set to commence from 26th March. Less than a month is left for the biggest cricket event of this world. The hype of this year's edition is already at its peak as two new teams have been added. The mega auction has changed the faces of the team squad. Many top local and overseas players are going to be donning new team jerseys. The opening pairs of all teams are looking. Some of them are going to give the bowling department a headache.

1. David Warner - Prithvi Shaw

The Warner-Shaw duo is topping the chart. Everyone has an eye on this explosive batting pair. Warner is coming back to Delhi again after seven years. Shaw is a familiar face of this franchise. This duo have to perform big as the franchise performance will depend on this alot.

2. Ishan Kishan - Rohit Sharma

Mumbai Indians is the most successful franchise in the history of the IPL. Opening has always remained this team's biggest strength. In this year's auction this franchise has spent a whopping amount of 15crs on opener Ishan kishan.

3. Kl Rahul- Quinton De cock

The Lucknow franchise has done exceptionally well on the auction table. They have built a team who Carries the ability to win the tournament. The strongest zone of this team is their powerhouse opening duo. This team is going to depend a lot on this duo.

4. Shikhar Dhawan - Mayank Agarwal

The Punjab franchise hasn't been able to make it to the playoffs since 2014. Fortunately, this time Punjab is looking solid on paper. They have added the experienced Shikhar Dhawan to their team. The opening of dhawan and mayank is considered as one of the best.

5. Virat kohli - Faf du Plessis

The RCB franchise has one of the finest and experienced opening batters. The Indian cricket team superstar virat will be partnering Faf at the top. RCB is going to depend a lot on this duo. These two players can win matches for RCB by giving Solid start. Virat is going to play with more freedom after leaving the  captaincy.

6. Yashasvi Jaiswaal - Jos Buttler

The Rajasthan Royals is the only team who retained their opening pairs before the mega auction. The duo of Jaiswaal and Butler is a mix of experience and youth. Butler is a proven T20 opener while Yashasvi will be high on confidence with his previous year's performance.

7. Alex Hales - Venktesh Iyer

The runner up of the previous edition, Kolkata is looking like a completely new team this year. They have bought top-quality T20 players in the auction. Hales is someone who has an immense amount of experience in this format. While Iyer is an exciting talent. This duo will do some wonder for their franchise.

8. Jason Roy- Shubman Gill

The newly added Gujarat team will be looking to start their IPL campaign with the IPL title. For that their opening pair of gill and Roy have to give their best. Roy has very minimal IPL experience while Gill is a rising talent.

9. Devon Conway - Ruturaj Gaikwad

Chennai Super kings, the winner of previous year's IPL edition, will be looking for a new opening pair of Indian rising star Ruturaj who will be joined by kiwi star Conway. The opening pair played a crucial role in the Chennai champion campaign. The new opening pair will be keen to replicate the same.

10. Kane Williamson - Abhishek Sharma

The Hyderabad franchise has done good on the auction table. They have a solid top-order batting lineup. The opening pair of Kane and Sharma will try to score as much as they can to release pressure from the middle-order. However, this opening pair is looking defensive one  in comparison of other franchises.
