Women’s cricket has evolved in the past few years. From Mithali  Raj to Elyse Perry,  we've seen some quality cricketers in the past few years. Women not only excelled in the male-dominated fields but also surpassed many of the records held by male cricketers. Women’s cricket has made some tremendous progress in recent years, and one of the prominent reasons for their rise is their eminent display in every field of the game. And wicket-keeping is one such field, where they not only stood out but also transcended many records.

1. Sarah Taylor

The former English wicket-keeper is undoubtedly one of the finest wicket keepers. She has 136 dismissals with seven centuries and 36 half-centuries under her belt. Sarah is the only wicketkeeper to have affected more than 100 stumpings and is also accountable for the highest individual score as a wicketkeeper-batswoman. Gilchrist, in his recent interview, hailed her as the best wicket-keeper of all time.

2. Trisha Chetty

Trisha Chetty is a South African wicket-keeper, she made her debut in 2007, and since then, she has been praised for her glovework behind the stumps. With her athletic keeping style, she efficiently manages to catch the batswoman off guard. She holds the record for the most number of dismissals in International cricket (women) i.e.,161.

3. Jane Smit

The Veteran wicketkeeper from England was a part of the legendary Ashes series of 2005. She is one of the earliest known female cricketers who has 161 dismissals to her name. Smit is looked upon as one of the most remarkable wicketkeepers in the Arena of Women’s cricket.

4. Merissa Aguillera

A prominent wicket-keeper batswoman from West Indies, Merissa Agulleria played over 200 matches for her side before retiring in 2019. She has recorded 172 dismissals under her name and went down as one of the esteemed wicket keepers.

5. Rachel Priest

An explosive kiwi batswoman and an impressive wicketkeeper, Priest, played 87 ODIs and 75 T20Is before bidding farewell to the port. With her gloves, she achieved the feat of 166 dismissals in her career.

6. Rebecca Rolls

Legendary Cricketer from New Zealand, Rolls was a wicket-keeper and a lower order batswoman who primarily liked to finish the game. She is admired for her skills in the cricketing world and has achieved more than 137 dismissals in her career.

7. Alyssa Healy

Alyssa Healy comes from a cricketing background as she is the niece of Ian Hailey and the wife to Mitchell Starc. She has overtaken MS Dhoni as the wicketkeeper with the most dismissals in T20 and has dismissed over 152 players in her ongoing career. Healy is not only praised for her wicket-keeping skills but batting as well.

8. Batool Fatima

Former Pakistani wicket-keeper Batool Fatima has 150 dismissals to her name; apart from that, her batting skills also came in handy. Fatima made her debut in 2001 against the Netherlands and played 50 ODIs before retiring in 2007.

9. Jodie Fields

Jodie Fields is an Australian cricketer who made her debut in 2006. She is one of the successful captains of the team who achieved heights under her leadership. She has done 114 dismissals in her eight years of career.

10. JC Price

JC Price is a former Australian wicket-keeper who made her debut in 1996 against New Zealand. In 2019 she was appointed as the first-ever female coach in Men’s BBL. She has done over 100 dismissals, playing for Australia at the international level and Queensland in the domestic forum. She is currently serving as the head coach of the USA’s women’s team.
