1. The Netherlands (39 against Sri Lanka)

Sri Lanka played against the Netherlands in a Super League match in 2014 in Chittagong. Sri Lanka won the toss and let the Dutch team bat first. Sri Lanka’s Angelo Mathews and Ajantha Mendis picked up 3 wickets each. The Netherlands got bundled out for only 39. Sri Lankan batters then completed the formalities in 5 overs, losing only 1 wicket. Mathews was chosen as the Man of the Match for his bowling figures of 3/16 (4 overs).

2. The Netherlands (44 against Sri Lanka)

This was another low-scoring match involving the Netherlands and Sri Lanka. But this match was part of the 2021 T20 World Cup. In this match in Sharjah, Lahiru Kumara and Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 3 wickets each to dismiss the Netherlands on just 44. Colin Ackermann was the only Dutch batter to score in double-digits. In the second innings, Kusal Perera smashed 33* in 24 balls to guide Sri Lanka to an 8-wicket win.

3. West Indies (55 against England)

West Indies clashed with England in the Super League of the 2021 T20 World Cup. In this match in Dubai, England won the toss and chose to field first. Chris Gayle was the only Caribbean batter to cross the 10-run mark. England’s Moeen Ali (2/17) and Adil Rashid (4/2) spun a web around the West Indian batters. West Indies was shot out for only 55. This was the lowest score by a full member of ICC in Men’s T20 World Cup history. England prevailed by 6 wickets with 70 balls to spare.

4. New Zealand (60 against Sri Lanka)

On 24 March 2014, Sri Lanka bowled out the Netherlands for only 39. A week later, they handed out a similar treatment to New Zealand. This match was a virtual quarter-final for both teams. At Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Sri Lanka batted first to score a sub-par score of 119. The stage was set for the ‘Black Caps’ to advance to the semi-final for the second time. But Rangana Herath was not willing to surrender. Herath picked up 5 wickets for only 3 runs to skittle New Zealand on 60.

5. Scotland (60 against Afghanistan)

This was a Super League match in the 2021 T20 World Cup between Afghanistan and Scotland. In this match in Sharjah, Scotland witnessed the Afghan batting assault in which 4 of the 5 batters scored at a strike rate of over 145. Afghanistan posted 190/4. Mujeeb ur Rahman and Rashid Khan then started messing with the Scottish batters. Mujeeb picked up 5 wickets while Rashid took 4. Scotland was bowled out for 60.

6. Ireland (68 against West Indies)

Hosts West Indies was playing against Ireland in the Providence Stadium (Guyana) in 2010. Irish bowlers did a brilliant job restricting power-packed West Indies to 138/9. Daren Sammy’s 17-ball-30 added some respectability to the total. Ireland had an excellent opportunity to beat West Indies for the first time in T20Is. But Sammy picked up 3 wickets for 8 runs to bowl out Ireland for 68.

7. Hong Kong (69 against Nepal)

Nepal met with Hong Kong in the 2014 T20 World Cup. In this match in Chittagong, Gyanendra Malla (48) and Paras Khadka (41) took Nepal to 149/8. In reply, Hong Kong was bowled out on 69 to hand Nepal an 80-run victory. Shakti Gauchan was the Man of the Match for taking 3 wickets for 9 runs.

8. Bangladesh (70 against New Zealand)

This was a dead-rubber in the 2016 T20 World Cup in India. New Zealand had already qualified for the semi-final, while Bangladesh was already eliminated. In this match in Kolkata, Mustafizur Rahman became the second Bangladeshi bowler to pick up a 5-wicket haul in T20I. New Zealand was restricted to 145/8. Kane Williamson top-scored for the Kiwis with his 42 runs. In the second innings, Grant Elliott picked up 4 wickets to bowl out Bangladesh for just 70.

9. Afghanistan (72 against Bangladesh)

This was the first match of the 2014 T20 World Cup. Shakib al Hasan took 3 wickets to suffocate Afghanistan to 72 all out. It was an easy task for Bangladesh batters who crossed the line losing just 1 wicket and with 8 overs to spare.

10. Kenya (73 against New Zealand)

Kenya and New Zealand clashed in 2007 in Durban. In this match, Kenya batted first and was rattled by Mark Gillespie’s 4 wickets for 7 runs. Kenya was dismissed for only 73. New Zealand won the contest by 9 wickets with 74 balls to spare.
