1. Brad Hodge

He was employed as a petrol pump worker. Later, he became one of the most elegant Australian players known for the skills of captaincy and batting. In the IPL session, he was also announced as the coach of Gujarat Lions and achieved the targeted goal in the field. He was considered one of the heaviest players because of unbelievable and tremendous catches, especially for dismissing the Indian Batsman Uthappa. He is well-remembered for the aerobatic move as he was previously worked in the police and was an all-rounder that scored around 111 runs in the ODI.

4. Sheldon Cottrell

He worked as a Jamaican Defence Soldier. The West Indies team player impressed everyone with his bowling skill in the ICC world cup. He is famous for making Steve Smith out by catching his hit in the boundary. The southpaw seamer made his debut in the test match against the Indian team.

5. Shane Bond

Before becoming the fast bowler, the New Zealand player worked as a policeman. Shane Bond was called a gun fast bowler. Bond has scalped over 147 wickets in 82 ODI matches.

6. Ian Chappell

He had a previous career as a baseball player. Still, after opting for the passion for cricket, he joined the Australian team, and even he captained the team very elegantly between the period of 1971 to 1975. He was also stated as one of the Australian team's best captains in baseball. He had a good level of presence, ability, skills, and capacity for understanding the players' behavior. Chappell took the leadership to a significant level and successfully played 75 matches in test cricket series, within which he was amassed 5345 runs having an average of 42.42.

7. Nathan Lyon

Lyon started his career as ground staff. Later, he became one of the tremendous all-time spinners. He got 343 wickets in 86 matches in the test series.

8. Yuzvendra Chahal

He is one of the best leg spinners who used to play chess and represented India. Then after giving the trails, he became the regular player and a member of the Indian team in ODI matches. The talisman spinner who has taken around 83 wickets in 48 ODI matches is now motivating the young generation.

9. Joe Dawes

Before pursuing a career in cricket, he was a policeman. Later, his interest blew everyone's mind and established his name as the fastest bowler in the Australian team. He even served and was elected as the bowling coach for the Indian team but could not make his debut from the side of Australia. He scalped over 285 wickets in 76 matches in the first-class matches.

10. MS Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the most influential players in the world. Before becoming a cricket player, he was a railway Ticket Collector at the Kharagpur station. He is one of the best captains, batsmen, and wicketkeepers globally. He captained the victorious Indian team in the T20 world cup series in 2007 and the world cup championship trophy in 2011.
