Bowling Economy is one of the three meters to define the bowler's performance; the additional two are bowling average and strike rate. Bowling economy is the average number of runs conceded per over bowled. It is frequently used beside the bowling average to determine the overall execution of the bowler in a game. The role of bowlers in ODI is of importance. An effective bowler is capable enough of ensuring the teams’ victory game with his bowling abilities. Kenya played its first ODI match on February 18, 1996, against India at Barabati Stadium in Kolkata. They registered their first win in an ODI against West Indies in a group stage match at Pune.

1. Hiren Ashok Varaiya 

Hiren Ashok Varaiya is a former slow left-arm orthodox bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team. He made his ODI debut on August 05, 2006, against Canada in Toronto, and his last ODI was on January 30, 2014, against Scotland at Christchurch. 2. Martin Armon Suji 

Martin Armon Suji is a former right-arm medium-fast bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team who made his ODI appearance against India at Kolkata on February 18, 1996. His last ODI match was on March 23, 2006, against Bangladesh at Fatullah. He played 64 ODIs and took 43 wickets in 64 innings with a bowling average of 50.93 and an economy of 4.45.

3. Peter Jimmy Carter Ongondo 

Peter Jimmy Carter Ongondo is a former right-arm fast-medium bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team and made his ODI debut on September 30, 1999, against South Africa at Nairobi. His last ODI was against Zimbabwe on March 20, 2011, in Kolkata. He played 78 ODIs and took 75 wickets in 78 innings with a bowling average of 30.86 and an economy of 4.56. The bowler has taken one five-wicket haul.

4. Thomas Odoyo Migai 

Thomas Odoyo Migai is a former right-arm medium-fast bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team. He played his first ODI on February 18, 1996, against India at Barabati Stadium in Kolkata, and his last ODI match was on January 20, 2014, against Scotland at Christchurch. He played 131 ODI matches and took 141 wickets in 126 innings with a bowling average of 29.63 and an economy of 4.57.

5. Stephen Ogonji Tikolo 

Stephen Ogonji Tikolo is a former right-arm off-break bowler in Kenya Cricket Team and made his ODI appearance in a match against India at Barabati Stadium in Kolkata on February 18, 1996. His last ODI was against the Netherlands at Lincoln on January 23, 2014. He played 131 ODI games and took 93 wickets in 97 innings with a bowling average of 33.40 and an economy of 4.72.

6. Maurice Omondi Odumbe 

Maurice Omondi Odumbe is a former right-arm off-break bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team. He played his first ODI on February 18, 1996, against India at Kolkata, and his last ODI was on April 08, 2003, against Pakistan at Sharjah. He played 61 ODIs and took 39 wickets in 52 innings with a bowling average of 46.33 and an economy of 4.84.

7. James Kabatha Kamande 

James Kabatha Kamande is a former right-arm off-break bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team and played his first ODI on May 15, 1999, against Zimbabwe at Taunton. His last ODI game was on March 13, 2011, against Australia at Bengaluru. He played 86 ODIs and took 48 wickets in 71 innings with a bowling average of 45.18 and an economy of 4.96.

8. Collins Omondi Obuya 

Collins Omondi Obuya is a former leg-break bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team who made his ODI debut against West Indies at Nairobi on August 15, 2001. His last ODI was against Scotland at Christchurch on January 30, 2014. He played 104 ODI matches and took 35 wickets in 49 innings with a bowling average of 46.77 and an economy of 5.40. The bowler has taken one five-wicket haul.

9. Otieno Suji Ondik 

Otieno Suji Ondik is a former right-arm medium bowler who made his ODI debut against Pakistan at Nairobi on October 2, 1996. His last game against Ireland at Belfast was on August 25, 2008. He played 60 games and took 21 wickets in 46 innings with an average of 55.95 and an economy of 5.44.

10. Nehemiah Ngoche Odhiambo 

Nehemiah Ngoche Odhiambo is a former right-arm fast-medium bowler in the Kenya Cricket Team who made his ODI appearance on February 25, 2006, against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. His last ODI was on January 30, 2014, against Scotland at Christchurch. He played 69 matches and took 70 wickets with a bowling average of 36.92 and an economy of 5.52.
