Joining Virat Kohli at the top of the list comes Lucknow Supergiants captain KL Rahul. Rahul made his IPL debut in 2013 against KKR. He came into the limelight in 2016 for his stellar batting performance for RCB. Within six years, KL Rahul became the joint highest-paid cricketer in the IPL. In 2022, LSG retained KL Rahul for 17 Crore INR.

3. Chris Morris

The most shocking name in this list and the highest-paid foreigner ever to play in the IPL is the South African all-rounder Chris Morris. Rajasthan Royals bought Morris for a whopping 16.25 Crore INR in the 2021 IPL auction for his all-rounder ability. However, Morris had an average season as he took 15 wickets with an economy of 9.17 and scored only 67 runs with an average of 13.4.

4. Yuvraj Singh

9. Ishan Kishan

The 24-year-old Indian wicket-keeper has gone through hot and cold form since 2020.
