But we have seen many players who were not that fit but they still played fantastically their career. They played without a great physique but with skills. Players who gifted their team victories made efforts for their team and never made anyone talk about their physique. Today we are going to talk about those players who excelled in cricket though they were overweight.

1. Jesse Ryder

Jesse Ryder was a former cricketer of the New Zealand cricket team. He was a hard-hitter with massive skills in batting. Ryder scored 1362 runs with an average of 33.2 in 48 matches. He was known for his weight more than his batting. Jesse answered his haters with his outstanding career and his weight didn’t affect his career that much.

Former English player, Mike Gatting was a furious batter who scored 4409 runs in his Test career. Mike was such a dedicated and skillful batter with some extra weight on his belly. 5. Inzamam Ul Haq

Inzamam Ul Haq was a former Pakistani skipper who proved himself with his massive skill of batting. Inzamam scored 11739 runs in 378 ODI matches with an average of 39.5. Inzamam was known for his chubby figure and hard-hitting. Some of his teammates also said that he never worked out. He made his country so proud with his fantastic batting stats.

6. Arjuna Ranatunga

Arjuna Ranatunga was a legendary player of Sri Lanka. He led his team with his successful and aggressive captaincy. Arjuna played 269 matches and scored 7456 runs with a 35.8 average. Arjuna was a fire on the ground who always performed confidentially for his team. His heavy body weight was not even a thing of discussion for him because of his talent on the field.

7. Sarfaraz Ahmed

Former Pakistani skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed was a point of attraction while the champions trophy and International ODI World Cup 2015. Sarfaraz has touched 2315 runs in 117 ODI matches. He stumped 24 batsmen in 119 matches also. Sarfaraz got trolled because of his big tummy many times. Sarfaraz was a balanced wicket-keeper batsman who led his team in World Cup 2015.

8. Ryan Harris

Former Australian right-arm fast-medium bowler who took 100 wickets in 27 matches. Ryan never concentrated on his weight but always focused on his game. Ryan was so skillful as he performed impressively in IPL and made his name permanent in the Australian playing XI.

9. Shane Warne

Greatest of the all-time, former Australian spinner has also suffered for his heavyweight. Warne was a magical bowler who bowled magnificently in his whole career. He took 708 wickets in 145 test matches with an economy of 2.65. He also scored 3154 runs in 145 tests. His bowling stats always made his country proud and zipped his hater's mouth.

10. Merve Hughes

Merv Hughes was a pace bowler from Australia who made every of his hater a joke. Hughes had a big fat tummy with a handlebar mustache. His stats were really good that he took 212 wickets in just 53 test matches. His swinging deliveries never made anyone talk about his physique.
