Several cricketers have been loyal to their respective IPL teams. However, some players have found it difficult to establish themselves as long-term team members. After a season or two, they change teams. Most IPL cricketers have made it a routine to switch teams and relocate, although many players have remained loyal to a single franchise their entire careers. Let us look at cricketers who have played for only one IPL team.

1. Shane Warne

In the first IPL season, Shane Warne captained the Rajasthan Royals. As the captain of a group of "underdogs," the Australian footballer was not held in high regard. During his time as the franchise's captain and coach, the illustrious leg-spinner not only stunned the opponents with his spin masterclass but also discovered outstanding talents. Three more seasons of Warne's playing career with the Royals followed before he retired in 2011.

2. Sunil Narine

Narine, who signed his first IPL deal in 2012, has consistently produced for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Notably, the unidentified spinner is in a tie for sixth place in tournament history regarding wickets taken. The Windies cricketer, who regularly spun a web around the batters, was an essential art of the teams Gautam Gambhir led to championships in 2012 and 2014.

3. Kieron Pollard

Since 2010, Kieron Pollard has been one of the major cornerstones for the men in blue, propelling the Mumbai Indians to several victories with his dominating presence on the field. Pollard, though, was left with a grave scar from the 2018 version. The all-rounder had a less-than-stellar season and could not improve the team's results. However, the team has maintained its faith in Pollard by giving him another season, and the 31-year-old would be eager to work his magic in the Mumbai colors again.

4. Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah's development over the past six seasons, from his debut as a young fast bowler to becoming one of the most exciting T20 players, has been crucial to the success of the Mumbai Indians. The Mumbai Indians have paid a lot of money to keep him throughout the years because of his steadfast bravery, and they plan to do the same for the future season.

5. Lasith Malinga

Since 2008, Malinga has competed for the Mumbai Indians of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He rose to become their most productive bowler in this format and the competition overall in terms of wickets taken. He ended his career playing T20 franchise cricket in January 2021. As of yet, he has only played for the Mumbai Indians.

6. Sachin Tendulkar

As might be anticipated of a cricketing legend of such stature, Sachin Tendulkar spent his entire IPL career playing for just one franchise. The Master Blaster made his impact in India's favorite T20 league while playing for his local team, the Mumbai Indians, for roughly six years.  Tendulkar distinguished himself with the Mumbai Indians by leading the team to its first final in 2010 and finishing as the top scorer on multiple occasions. Notably, the master had also smashed a century in the tournament's 2011 iteration, leaving his admirers with a memorable experience.

7. Shaun Marsh

The Australian left-hander, selected in the first auction for a fair price, stunned everyone with his exceptional batting ability and helped the franchise advance to the tournament's semifinals. Marsh's heroics with the bat not only helped him win the Orange Cap in the 2008 edition but also made him a prime candidate for KXIP in the following years. The owners made some difficult decisions during the 2018 auction, notably the omission of Shaun Marsh. Unfortunately, the slick left-handed batsman found no buyers in the most recent auction either.

8. Prithvi Shaw

Before the IPL 2020 and 2021, Delhi Capitals kept Prithvi, the captain of India's Under-19 World Cup-winning side. The Delhi team persevered with him and retained him before the TATA IPL 2022 auction. The DC will want the opener to overwhelm the opposition during the 2019 IPL season because he has created waves in the domestic circuit and is still one of the most thrilling hitters to watch when in full flow.

9. Virat Kohli

Kohli has evolved into RCB's most asset over the years, from claiming a berth as a rising star in 2008 to carrying the organization as one of the greatest batters of the contemporary era. Since the first IPL season, the batting maestro has been the ideal complement to the raucous audience, ardent fan clubs, and fanatical Chinnaswamy stadium. Kohli has written a lesson for the men in red by using his bat to establish dominance. The 30-year-old boasts numerous impressive records, including scoring the most runs in a single IPL edition and being the second-highest run-getter in the tournament's history thus far (in 2016).

10. Rishabh Pant

In 92 games since his IPL debut in 2012, Pant has over 2500 runs for Delhi Capitals. Before the TATA IPL 2022, Rishabh was the captain of DC. He has played in close to 2500 IPL innings and has scored 115 fifty-plus runs. The young player is heading into this round of the competition after a stellar run of play for his country, and he will be hoping to continue that success with Delhi Capitals.
