An ODI is one of the three formats in cricket. It is a 50-over game. It is also known as White Ball cricket since here the bowlers use the white ball. ODI is played as a bilateral series or World Cup. In recent times, women’s cricket has also seen an evolution. For Instance, female cricketers now play all types of tournaments. They play IPL, Test match, World Cup, and T20 cricket. There are some renowned partnerships in cricket, for example the famous duo of Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. But let’s look at some of the highest batting partnership in women’s ODI matches.

1. 320 Runs

Deepti Sharama and Punam Raut occupy the first place in this list. They are female Indian cricketers who scored 320 Runs against Ireland. It came during the Women’s Quadrangular Series. The game took place in Potchefstroom in 2017. India defeated Ireland by 24 runs. Both Sharma and Raut scored a century in this match. Deepti received the Player of the Match Trophy for scoring 188 Runs.

2. 295 Runs

The second-highest batting partnership in women’s ODI is of 295 Runs. It was a second-wicket partnership. This record was set during the New Zealand tour of Ireland Series. The game took place in Dublin in 2018. Amelia Kerr and Leigh Kasperek, Kiwi cricketers, scored 295 Runs against Ireland. Ireland failed to chase the target of 440 runs and thus lost the match by 305 runs. Kerr scored 232 runs in this match.

3. 244 Runs

Two Australian cricketers, Karen Rolton and Lisa Sthalekar, occupy the third place. They scored 244 Runs against Ireland. It was third-wicket partnership. Rolton and Lisa scored 2444 runs during the second ODI match of Australia tour of Ireland Series in 2005. The game took place in Dublin. Australia won the match by 240 runs.

4. 224 Runs

The fourth-highest batting partnership in women’s ODI is of 224 Runs. Johmari Logtenberg and Mignon du Preez scored 188 Runs against the Netherlands. They scored 224 Runs during the third ODI match of South Africa tour of Netherlands Series. The game took place in August 2007. Logtenberg and Preez played for South Africa. Johmari scored 153 runs, thus making it the highest score by any female South African cricketer in an ODI.

5. 188 Runs

The fifth-highest batting partnership in women’s ODI is of 188 Runs. Taylor and Cassar scored 188 Runs during the CricInfo Women’s World Cup in December 2000. They scored 188 Runs against Sri Lanka. Taylor scored 136 runs in this match. England won the game by 105 runs. It came in the form of a fifth-wicket partnership.

6. 142 Runs

The sixth-highest batting partnership in women’s ODI is of 142 Runs. Two South African batters set this record during the first ODI match of South Africa tour of Ireland Series in 2016. Sunne Luus and Chloe Tryon scored 142 Runs against Ireland. Sunne Luus also took six wickets in this match. Her massive contribution in batting and bowling helped South Africa win the match by 89 runs.

7. 122 Runs

Two Indian cricketers, Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar, hold the record of scoring one of the highest batting partnerships in women’s ODI.  They scored 122 Runs against Pakistan. It came during the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup. Rajeshwari Gayakwad, a female Indian bowler, took four wickets in this match. India won the match by 107 runs. Pooja Vastrakar received the Player of the Match Trophy for scoring 67 runs.

8. 88 Runs

The eighth-highest batting partnership in women’s ODI is 88 Runs. Nilakshika Silva and Oshadi Ranasinghe scored 88 Runs against England. They set this record during an ODI match between England and Sri Lanka in 2019. Despite this partnership, Sri Lanka lost the match by 154 runs. Nat Brunt, a female English cricketer, scored 93 runs in this match.

9. 73 Runs

The next highest partnership on this list is 73 Runs. Two English cricketers, Isa Guha and Lynsey Askew, scored 73 Runs against New Zealand. This ninth wicket partnership came during the 2007 Women’s Quadrangular Series. The game took place in Chennai. New Zealand won the match by 27 runs. Louise Milliken, a Kiwi bowler, took four wickets in this match.

10. 76 Runs

The last batting partnership on this list is 76 Runs. Two Australian women, Alex Blackwell and Elyse Villani, scored 76 Runs in this match against India. This 10th wicket partnership came during the 2017 Semi-Final match of the ICC Women’s World Cup. The game took place in Derby.  Deepti Sharma, an Indian bowler, took three wickets in this match.
