The Indian Premier League (IPL) was started by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and sponsored by TATA. It is a 20 cricket league game where ten teams compete to win the trophy. The team's names are of Indian states and cities. The team players are selected in the annual player auction. The ten teams are KKR, RR, DC, and LSG in Group A, which is led by Mumbai Indians, while SRH, RCB, PBKS, and GT are in Group B, which is led by Chennai Super Kings.

1. MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings)

Best captain of all time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was the Indian cricket team captain also,but after he retired from international cricket, he is still playing for IPL as a captain of CSK. He has won the IPL trophy four times, 2010,2011, 2018, and 2021. He had played 196matches and won 118. He is known for his coolness and outstanding performance as a captain. He also confirmed that he would lead CSK in the 2023 IPL match.

2. Sachin Tendulkar (Mumbai Indians)

Sachin Tendulkar is a legend of cricket that has made so many records. He was a captain in IPL from Mumbai Indians from 2008 to 2013. In his under, Mumbai Indians played 51matches and won 30. After his retirement, he took over as a mentor and made Mumbai Indians win five times which is 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.

3. Yuvraj Singh (Punjab Kings)

Yuvraj Singh was an all-rounder who batted left-handed and bowled slow left-arm. He is

always remembered for his outstanding performance in World Cup 2011. He had played in IPL from many teams like Kings XI Punjab, Pune Warriors India, RCB, DD, Sunrises Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Toronto Nationals, and Maratha Arabians. He became the Punjab kings captain from 2008-2009 and played 29 matches and won 17.

4. Gautam Gambhir (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Gautam Gambhir, the current member of the Lok Sabha. He played for Delhi Daredevilsfrom 2008-2010 and in 2018. In 2010 he became the Captain of Delhi Daredevils. After2010, Gambhir became the most sought-after player with $2.4 million from the Kolkata Knight Riders. Under his captaincy, KKR won its first title in 2012.

5. Rohit Sharma ( Mumbai Indians)

Rohit Sharma, the current captain of Mumbai Indian and the Indian cricket team. Under hiscaptaincy, Mumbai Indians won 5 times IPL titles. He became the captain after SachinTendulkar in 2013. Since 2013, Rohit Sharma has been one of the most successful captains in IPL. He played 143 matches and won 79, whereas four tied.

6. Shane Warne (Rajasthan Royals)

Shane Warne was an Australian cricket team vice-captain who played from 1991 to 2007. Heplayed as a captain for Rajasthan Royals from 2008-2012. After his retirement, he became the player-coach for Rajasthan Royals. He has played 55 matches and won 30 whereas one tied.

7. Virender Sehwag (Delhi Capitals)

Virender Sehwag was the opening batsman of the Indian cricket team from 1999 to 2013. Heplayed his IPL in the Delhi Capitals, which is today Delhi Daredevils, from 2008-2013 as acaptain. He played 54 matches as a captain and won 28. On the 10th anniversary of IPL, he was named in the all-time Cricinfo IPL XI.

8.  Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capital)

Rishabh Pant is the wicketkeeper batter of the Indian cricket team. He became the captain of the Delhi Capitals in 2021 as Shreyer Lyer was ruled out by the entire tournament due to aninjury. He had scored 128 runs in 63 balls and become one of the youngest players to score a century in IPL.

9. Rahul Dravid (Rajasthan Royals)

The current head coach of the U19 Indian cricket team is Rahul Dravid. He was the captain ofthe Indian cricket team in 2005. He played for RCB from 2008-2010, and from 2011 to 2013in Rajasthan Royals as a captain. He played 67 matches and won 30 whereas four tied. In 2013 he announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League.

10. David Warner (Sunrises Hyderabad)

David Warner is an Australian cricketer who played for Sunrises Hyderabad from 2014 to2021. In 2015, he was appointed as the captain of Sunrises Hyderabad. Under his captaincy,Sunrises Hyderabad won the IPL title in 2016. As a captain, his winning percentage was52.24%. After 2021, he entered in Delhi Capitals.IPL has a craze all over India. From this, people come together to support the different players of the countries without discrimination. People support their team with their favorite player or name of city/state. As the crazy of IPL is increasing, IPL for women cricket teams is also introduced. And we have to make women’s IPL as successful as men’s.
