For the standards and quality of ICC ODI matches, there are quite a few matches that did not have the higher standards of ICC tournaments. In this article, we will look at the top 10 ICC ODI matches which had the highest number of ducks. These 10 matches are the only matches that had the most number of ducks in total. Without a proper batting order and strong partnership between batsmen, no team could survive in the ICC tournaments. By the strong bowling attack from the opponent team, these matches had the highest number of ducks in the history of cricket.

1. England – West Indies

The match which topped this list is the ICC ODI match between England and West Indies in the 1979 series. This was during an ODI series in the year 1979, and there were a total of 8 ducks in this match. This match was played in the popular Lord’s ground on 23 June 1979.

2. Australia – England

The match at the 2md spot to have the most duck wicket is an ICC ODI match between Australia and England in the year 1980. This was an ICC tournament that was played in Sydney ground on 14 January 1980. Both teams had a powerful spell to oppose the opponents and therefore ended up with the more no ducks in batting. This match had a total of 7 ducks.

3. Pakistan – West Indies 

The 3rd highest match to have the maximum no of duck wickets in it is the ICC tournament between Pakistan and West Indies in the year 1993. This match was played in the Cape Town ground on 25 February 1993. This match had a total of 7 ducks.

4. Pakistan - West Indies

The 4th spot is for the ICC ODI match between Pakistan and West Indies in the year 1997. This was an ICC ODI series that was played in Melbourne ground on 20 January 1997. This match had a total of 7 duck wickets and both teams had their worst performances.

5. Pakistan – South Africa 

The match at the no.5 spot is an ICC ODI tournament in the year 2000. This was an ICC ODI series between South Africa and Pakistan in the year 2000. This was played in Sharjah ground on 28 March 2000. This match had a total of 7 ducks. The teams were devastated after this match by their poor batting performances.
