In India, people celebrate cricket and cinema like no other. People want to know when their favorite actor or actress next film will be released so they can plan their weekend accordingly. At the same time, if India is playing acricket match against another team. As a result, cricketers and actors share the same stage and are better-paid professionals in India. There have been several cricketers who have dabbled in film.

1. Mohsin Khan

Former Pakistani cricketer and former chief selector of the Pakistan national cricket team made his Bollywood debut in 1989 with JP Dutta&  film Batwara .The cast included Dharmendra , Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, Amrita Singh, Poonam Dhillon, Shammi Kapoor, and Amrish Puri. He also appeared in films such as Fateh with Sanjay Dutt and Saathi in 1991 with Aditya Pancholi, directed by Mahesh Bhatt. But his Bollywood ties did not end there. In

Pakistan, Mohsin also appeared in a few Urdu films.

2. Salim Durrani

Few of the younger generation will remember this left-handed all-rounder. Kapil Dev is known for hitting sixes. This left-handed batsman from Afghanistan was known to hit sixes at the request of fans, who would cheerand encourage him to score one. In 1973, the good-looking cricketer made his Bollywood debut opposite the late Parveen Babi in BR Ishara Charitra. The film did poorly at the box office and failed to captivate the audience.

3. Shane Warne

The former Australian cricketer could soon make his Bollywood debut. According to a PTI report, Warne said, " There is a deal. Someone hassomething in store for me." He also stated that after the cricket season is over. He may look into the Bollywood project. Shane has previously expressed a desire to work in Bollywood, and if things go well, he may have the opportunity to do so.

4. Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar, the Little Master, is well-known for his sky-kissing sixes and impeccable straight drives, which often caused problems for pace bowlers. But Gavaskar was more than just a cricket star. The former Indian opener who appeared in the Marathi film is Savli Premachi. He also appeared in Naseeruddin Shah  1988 film Malaamaal as a cameo.

5. Ajay Jadeja

Ajay Jadeja is a well-known Indian cricketer from the 1990s. However, hiscricketing career was tragically cut short due to the match-fixing scandal. As aresult, Jadeja tried his hand at acting, landing a role in the 2003 film Khel. The

film, however, bombed the box office, forcing the former Indian batsman to shift his focus to cricket commentary and analysis.

6. Kapil Dev

Images of a robust man with a toothy smile lifting the Cricket World Cup flash through your mind. The moment you hear his name. The Indian bowling attack was by spinner Kapil Dev, who led India to the first world cup victory, succesas a pace bowler. Kapil Dev, also known as the Haryana Hurricane, appeared inseveral films, including Iqbal, Mujhse Shaadi Karogii, and Stumped.

7. Yograj Singh

He is one of the few actors who began his career in cricket but later foundsuccess in films. Being Yuvraj Singh father, Yograj is well-known for his regularon-screen appearances. Yograj Singh, who has appeared in over 30 Punjabi and10 Hindi films, received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Milkha Singh coach in Farhan Akhtar  Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

8. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh used to work as a child artist in Punjabi films alongside his father before joining the Indian cricket squad and making a name for himself. Littledid the Chandigarh native know that he would soon be required to transition from film sets to cricket grounds. In any case, the camera would continue to follow him.

9. Salil Ankola

Salil Ankola may not have made it big in the cricket world, but he did make aname for himself on Indian television. Salil has appeared in the television seriesChahat Aur Nafrat. He rose to prominence after appearing in films such as

Kurukshetra and Chura Liya Hai Tumne, as well as the popular horror show Ssshhhh Koi Hai. He still remembers making his test debut in the match as cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

10. Vinod Kambli

Vinod Kambli was regarded as one of the best players to emerge from Mumbai to play for India. His career was not particularly successful for various reasons ,and it ended in 2000. After that, he tried his hand at acting and landed a role in the film & quot; Aannarth& quot; alongside Sunil Shetty. Unfortunately, Vinod Kambli did

not fare well here either.
