Sourav Ganguly was born in Kolkata. He debuted in first-class cricket for Bengal’s team in 1989. In 1996, Sourav Ganguly made his test debut on Lord’s in which he scored a century. Apart from his excellent batting, Dada was also the fantastic captain of India. After the match-fixing scandal, Sourav Ganguly was appointed as the new captain of Team India. 7. Kapil Dev, Haryana

Kapil Dev is a former India all-rounder who has captained team India. He was the first proper fast-bowling all-rounder and one of the finest all-rounders in this country. In 1983, he led India's team to win an unexpected and miraculous World Cup. Kapil Dev was from the Chandigarh. Before the partition, his family used to live in Pakistan.
