1. Virat Kohli (52 Balls)

Virat Kohli is one of the best batsmen that India has ever produced. Recently, in the 2023 World Cup, he broke the record for the most ODI centuries. Virat Kohli also holds a record for the fastest century in India. It was the year 2013 when India played a 7-match ODI series against Australia. In the 2nd ODI, Australia won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 359 runs in 50 overs. In India’s innings, Virat Kohli destructively scored 100 off just 52 balls, the fastest century by an Indian in ODI cricket. By his destructive innings, India easily won the match by nine wickets.

2. Virender Sehwag (60 Balls)

Virender Sehwag is one the most dangerous and fearless openers that India has ever produced. In the 4th ODI against New Zealand at Hamilton, Virender Sehwag completed his century in just 60 balls. New Zealand won the toss in the match and decided to bat first. By batting first, New Zealand scored 270 runs. From India, Virender Scored batted ruthlessly and scored 125 off 74 balls, completing his century in just 60 balls. With the help of a terrific inning, India quickly chased the target and won the match by ten wickets.

3. Virat Kohli (61 Balls)

It was the 6th ODI of India versus Australia 2013 ODI series. In the match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. George Bailey and Shane Watson scored centuries for Australia, and Australia reached 350 runs in 50 overs. The target was difficult for India to chase, but Virat Kohli scored a terrific century, which helped India to track the big target quickly, and that’s why he is known as the chase master. In the chasing, Virat Kohli completed his century in just 61 balls and scored 115 off just 66 balls. As a result, India won the match by six wickets.

4. Mohammad Azharuddin (62 Balls)

Mohammad Azharuddin is a former right-hand batsman and captain of India. Mohammad Azharuddin dominated every New Zealand bowler in the 4th ODI against New Zealand in the 1988 ODI series. New Zealand batted first in the match and scored 278 runs in 50 overs. While chasing the target, India lost five wickets at 133 runs. But Mohammad Azharuddin did not give up and played a crucial and destructive inning of 108 off 65 balls. Throughout the match, he remained not out. As a result, India won the game by two wickets.

5. KL Rahul (62 Balls)  

It is the fastest century by an Indian batsman in ODI World Cup. It was the 45th match of the 2023 World Cup, where India faced the Netherlands. In the game, India won the toss and elected to bat first. India got a good start as the top three Indian batsmen scored half-centuries. After that, Iyer and KL Rahul stole the show and dominated the Netherlands’s bowling lineup. In the match, KL Rahul destructively scored 102 off 62 balls, completing his century in just 62 balls. As a result, India scored 410 in 50 overs, and India easily won the match by 160 runs.

6. Rohit Sharma (63 Balls)

One of the biggest reasons behind India’s domination in the 2023 World Cup is Rohit Sharma’s attacking approach. We saw his attacking approach against Afghanistan in the 2023 World Cup. 8. Kedar Jadhav (65 Balls)

It was the 1st match of 3 -the 3-match ODI series played by India and England. In the game, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. England batted brilliantly and set the score of 350 runs in 50 overs. The target was difficult to chase for India, but they lost their first three wickets at only 63 runs. 9. Suresh Raina (66 Balls)
