1. 214 Vs. England
Mithali Raj is the only Indian female cricketer to score a double century by making 214 runs against England. In 2002, in the Indian women’s tour of England, she scored a double tonne at the age of 19. This Test match is one of her best knocks. The match, however, got drawn. This double century is the second-best score in women’s Tests.
2. 125* Vs. Sri Lanka
In the Indian women’s tour of Sri Lanka in 2018, Mithali scored her till-date highest ODI score. In the 3rd ODI, Mithali Raj scored 125 runs not out in 143 balls against Sri Lanka. Despite her captain’s knock, Sri Lanka won the match against India by three wickets.
3. 114* Vs. Ireland
In the Indian women’s tour of England in 1999, Mithali Raj made her ODI debut. She made her first-ever century in the first-ever ODI she played for India, making 114* runs in 139 balls. Reshma Gandhi and Mithali Raj made a partnership of 258 runs. Mithali, in her first match only, helped India to win against Ireland by 161 runs.
4. 109* Vs. West Indies
Mithali Raj made yet another Century for India in the WODI series against West Indies. In the West Indies women’s tour of India in 2011, Mithali made 109* runs in 106 balls in the 4th ODI. This score helped India win the match by ten runs and the WODI series against West Indies.
5. 109 Vs. New Zealand
In the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup, India reached the finals. In one of the matches against New Zealand, Mithali Raj scored yet another tonne for India. India defeated New Zealand in the tournament by 186 runs. Mithali scored 109 runs in 123 balls and also won the Player of the Match award.

India has earned the title of the Women’s Asia Cup seven times. In the 2006 World Cup Finals, Mithali, once again, played a captain’s knock. A WODI between India and Pakistan was played in 2013 in the ICC Women’s World Cup in Cuttack. Mithali Raj scored a century of 103 runs not out against Pakistan in 141 balls. India won this game by six wickets, and Mithali was declared the Player of the Match.
9. 98 Vs. England
A World Series of Women’s Cricket was held in 2003 in New Zealand. In one of the matches between India and England, Mithali Raj, under pressure, scored 98 runs in 126 balls. Despite her efforts at the sheer age of 20, India lost the game to England by just one run.
10. 94* Vs. England
In 2013, the Indian women’s Cricket Team made an England tour. A series of WT20 and WODIs were held. In the 1st WODI, Mithali Raj scored 94* runs in 111 balls. India won this game by five wickets with just three balls remaining. She was also awarded the Player of the Match.
