Zimbabwe cricket team is one of the few Cricket teams in the world with Test status. They became full members of the International Cricket Council in 1992 and have played 111 Test matches since then. Currently, they are ranked number 10 in the ICC test rankings. They are presently captained by Sean Williams in Test matches, and last played a Test match against Bangladesh in July 2021. 1. Andy Flower
Andy Flower has the record of hitting the most fours for the Zimbabwe national cricket team in Test matches. Flower smashed 543 fours in his test career in 112 innings he batted in 63 Test matches Andy Flower played for Zimbabwe national cricket team. Andy Flower is regarded as one of the greatest Test batters from Zimbabwe as well.
2. Alistair Campbell
Alistair Campbell is a former captain of the Zimbabwe national cricket team, and he is second on the list of most fours hit by a Zimbabwean cricketer in International cricket. He smashed 355 fours in 109 innings he batted in 60 Test matches he played for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. Campbell played for Zimbabwe from 1992-2002.
3. Grant Flower
Grant Flower is the younger brother of Andrew Flower, and he represented the Zimbabwe national cricket team from 1992-2010. He played 67 Test matches for Zimbabwe, and 123 innings, and smashed 349 fours for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. Grant Flower is currently the batting coach of the Sri Lankan national cricket team and Sussex county cricket club.
4. Hamilton Masakadza
Hamilton Masakadza is a former Zimbabwe cricket player who played for the Zimbabwe national cricket team from 2009-2019. He has smashed the fourth most number of fours for the Zimbabwe national cricket team in Test matches. He hit 264 fours in the 76 innings he batted in. Masakadza played only 38 Test matches for Zimbabwe national cricket team.
5. Guy Whittall
Guy Whitall represented Zimbabwe national cricket team from 1992-2003 and played 46 Test matches for Zimbabwe. In 81 innings, he smashed 261 fours for Zimbabwe national cricket team, and this is the fifth most number of fours hit by a single player for Zimbabwe in Test matches. He even captained Zimbabwe in 4 ODIs.
6. Brendan Taylor
Brendan Taylor is considered one of the best Zimbabwean batters of all time. He represented Zimbabwe national cricket team in only 34 Test matches but still has smashed the sixth most number of fours in their history. He hit 254 fours for them in the 68 innings he batted in for Zimbabwe.
7. Heath Streak
Heath Streak is a former Zimbabwean all-rounder who played 65 Test matches for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. In 107 innings, he smashed 212 fours for Zimbabwe and is seventh on the list of Zimbabweans with the most fours. Streak is considered one of the best all-rounders of all time from Zimbabwe.
8. Stuart Carlisle
Stuart Carlisle is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who played for Zimbabwe from 1995-2005 and even captained them for some time. He played 37 Test matches for Zimbabwe national cricket team. Carlisle smashed 185 fours in the 66 innings, he batted in. He even scored two test hundreds for his national side.
9. Tatenda Taibu
Tatenda Taibu is a former wicket-keeper-batsman from Zimbabwe who played 28 Test matches for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He smashed 182 fours in the 54 innings he batted in and is ninth on the list of cricketers with the most number of fours for Zimbabwe in Test matches. He represented Zimbabwe from 2001-2012.
10. David Houghton
David Houghton is a former right-handed batsman from Zimbabwe who played only 22 Test matches for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. Houghton smashed 168 fours in only 36 innings he batted in. Houghton last played for Zimbabwe in 1997 and is the current head coach of the Zimbabwe national cricket team.
