SRH is one of the franchises with at least one IPL title. They achieved this in 2016. They were about to achieve another one in 2018 but they remained short marginally.   David Warner has captained SRH for a longer time and the team did well under his captaincy. He was the one who led to the maiden IPL trophy. After David exited from camp, they tried many captains but now for two consecutive years, Aiden Makram is leading the side.

1. David Warner

David Warner is one of the favorites of the Indian Premier League. He won the trophy for SRH. Apart from his leadership skills, he is a good batsman. He loves to bat on Indian pitches and his performances in IPL have been phenomenal. He is on the list of top run-getter in the Indian Premier League. His performances over here will please the Aussies as they will come to fight for the world cup in October this month. David has hit 379 fours for SRH.

2. Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan is currently an IPL player for the Punjab team. He had a mediocre IPL with the bat last season. Even yet, he was not a player for Punjab who could consistently deliver crucial knocks. BCCI later focused on him as a leader and hence young players were sent to bilateral series under his captaincy. He led the team in 50 over format most. We see that Shikhar is just an average player but his performances in the past speak volume about the batsmen he is. Shikhar has hit 280 fours for SRH.

3. Kane Williamson

Kane is the ex-skipper of the New Zealand cricket team. He is known to remain calm whatever the situation is. He has faced a lot of defeats and was heartbroken most of the time in the knockouts of the ICC tournament. But one time he managed to cross the line and that was the WTC final against India. He managed to bring the first ICC trophy back home. Currently, he is no more with the SRH franchise. He is playing for the Gujarat Titans. Kane has hit 181 fours.

4. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey is one of the Indian players who play IPL regularly and has made fewer appearances for the Men in Blue. His performances in the bilateral series brought him to the limelight, especially the Australia series but soon he lost his form and eventually his position. He has tried for the 50-over format more and it has been successful. The last season of IPL could not be more fruitful for him with the bat. Manish has hit 112 fours.

5. Jonny Bairstow

Jonny Bairstow is their regular wicketkeeper. This fifth player belongs to the England cricket team and is their three-format player. He is more used in test cricket as a wicketkeeper nowadays. In limited over the side, Jos Butler has taken responsibility. Despite this, he has always been an asset for his national side. Jonny later developed his test batting skills. In the last season of WTC, he was in good touch and has even made a century. His campaign started with Ashes for the current time. Jonny has hit 99 fours for SRH.

6. Abhisekh Sharma

Abhisekh will be the next emerging star. He has been that type of player for the SRH franchise. SRH invested in him at an early age as they want him to become their go-to player in the future. We don’t know after some years, he might lead the side. He was the batter primarily, but they made him an all-rounder. He was seen to bowl some overs with good economy in the IPL 2023. He has 89 fours under his name. He has 65 fours under his name.

7. Moises Henriques

One of the Australian athletes who competed in the Indian Premier League was Moises. He has been devoted because he has only played for SRH. He is a true all-rounder that SRH included in the starting eleven. With his bat, he has repeatedly destroyed opposing bowlers. He could bowl some middle overs that may alter the course of the game. He played for the SRH franchise during his successful IPL career. He has 65 fours under his name.

8. Rahul Tripathi

Rahul is a top-order batsman for whichever team he plays. He is known for his quick start. He needs to remain consistent and need to convert small starts to big knocks. This will pave his way to the national side. He was selected for the shortest format quite several times by BCCI. He was successful in giving a quick start to the time. He has performed for many teams in IPL including SRH. SRH was one of the early franchises. He has 60 fours.

9. Aiden Makram

Aiden is one of the South African players who played for the SRH franchise. The franchise believed him as a player who can lead the team and crowned him as the new skipper of the SRH. He led his team for two seasons consecutively but could not achieve what was expected. He did good with his batting knocks but as a captain, he did not have good seasons. SRH remained at the bottom of the points table. He has 43 fours under his name.

10. Naman Ojha

Naman is the capped Indian player and has represented Men in Blue. He did that in the year 2010. But limited opportunity sacked him from the main squad and eventually BCCI moved on from him. He performed well in domestics like the Ranji trophy. He could not play any limited-over format for Team India. His tenure with SRH was memorable. He was given the chance and he played as their regular wicketkeeper. He batted down the order and was given the role of the finisher. He has 35 fours under his name.
