With the advent of T20 cricket, wide and no-ball have become a crucial part of the game. Bowlers must bowl accurately so that the bowl does not go for a wide or extras. There are some T20 matches where extra runs became the reason for a team's defeat. In T20 cricket, there are many matches where bowlers have given many runs as extras. 1. South Africa (29)

In the history of T20 Internationals, South Africa has given the most extras in a match. In a 2nd T20 played between South Africa and West Indies in 2008, South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl first. But no one knew South Africa would give the highest number of extras in that match. South Africa bowled first and stopped West Indies at 131 runs, of which 29 came from the extras. Even though. 2. West Indies (28)

It was the first match of the T20 World Cup, played in 2007, when West Indies faced South Africa. In the beginning, South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl first. From West Indies, Chris Gayle scored the first-ever T20 International century. By Chris Gayle's century, West Indies scored 205 runs in 20 overs. West Indies batted very well, but their bowlers were disappointed as they gave 28 runs as extras. South Africa quickly chased the target in the 18th over and won the match by eight wickets.

3. New Zealand (26)

In 2020, the West Indies toured New Zealand. In the 1st T20 match, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. From West Indies, Kieron Pollard scored 75 runs, and with the help of his innings, West Indies scored 180 runs in 20 overs; except for Kieron Pollard, no one performed from West Indie's team. 4. South Africa (26)

In the 18th match of the 2016 World Cup, England and South Africa they faced each other. England won the toss and chose to bowl first. South Africa scored 230 runs in 20 overs, and England couldn't chase the massive target. Jason Roy gave a quick attacking start to England, and then Joe Root played a crucial innings of 83 runs. No other English batsmen scored even 30 runs except for Jason Roy and Joe Root. South Africa's bowling played a vital role in the match as their bowlers gave 26 extras, which also helped England chase the target. As a result, England won the game by two wickets.

5. Bangladesh (26)

In 2013, Bangladesh toured Sri Lanka. The Only T20 played between them was when Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. While batting first, Kusal Perera scored 64 runs, which helped Sri Lanka to set a target of 199 runs. Apart from Kusal Perera, Bangladesh's poor bowling helped Sri Lanka as Bangladesh's bowlers gave 26 runs as extras in that match. This resulted in a blunder of Bangladesh's team, and they fell short of 18 runs to win the game. Sri Lanka won the match by 17 runs.

6. Zimbabwe (25)

In 2015, India toured Zimbabwe, and in the 1st T20 match at Harare, India won the toss and decided to bat first. Every batter scored runs in the batting, and India scored 178 runs in 20 overs. Zimbabwe bowlers did not bowl well, and they disappointed their team. Zimbabwe's bowlers gave 25 extra runs in this match, and India took advantage of those extras. As a result, India won as Zimbabwe could only score 124 runs in 20 overs. Axar Patel got the Man of the Match award for his excellent bowling performance.

7. Zimbabwe (25)

Again, Zimbabwe is on a list, but they played against Afghanistan this time. Afghanistan won the toss in the 9th match of the 2016 World Cup qualifier and decided to bat first. 10. India (24)
