1. Dasun Shanaka

Dasun Shanaka is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and current limited-overs captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team. Shanka generally played as an all-rounder. Shanaka's bowling abilities in his ODI debut impacted his international career well. Shanka made his debut on 16 June, 2016, against Ireland in Dublin. Shanka scored explosive 42 runs in just 19 balls. In Bowling, Shanaka took 5 wickets just by giving 43 runs in 9 overs. He became the twelfth player, and third Sri Lankan, to take a 5-wicket haul on debut.

2. Brian Vitori

Brian Vitori is a left-arm pacer who plays for Zimbabwe national cricket team. When Zimbabwe played Bangladesh in Harare in 2011, he achieved the best bowling figures by a debutant of his nation. Vitori took 5 wickets just by giving 30 runs in 10 overs. Vitori went on to take another 5-wicket haul in his next match, making him the only player ever to take two 5-wicket hauls in his first two matches.

3. Allan Donald

Allan Donald, also called "White Lighting" due to his lighting quick bowling, is considered one of the South African national cricket team's most successful pace bowlers. Donald is also the first South African bowler to take 300 wickets. Donald made his international debut in 1991, which was also the South African national team's return to international cricket. Karnain took 5 wickets in 8 overs against New Zealand. The match was played on Moratuwa, and Karnain's economy was just 3.25. Karnain gave only 26 runs in the match. His bowling spell is still considered one of the iconic spells by a debutant.

7. Tony Dodemaide

Dodemaide began his career as a fast-bowling all-rounder in International cricket for Australia. Dodemaide made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 1988, at Perth. He took advantage of the extra bounce from Perth's surface. He finished with the figures of 5-22 in 7.2 overs. Dodemaide was the first cricketer to take a fifer in both test and ODI debuts.

10. Kagiso Rabada

This South African pace spearhead, on his ODI debut, made the best bowling figures by any debutant. Rabada's international debut was against Bangladesh in Mirpur on 10 July 2015. Rabada shattered Bangladeshi batsmen one by one and took 6 wickets. Rabada gave just 16 runs in 8 overs, with an economy of just 2. Rabada is also the second player  to take a hat-trick on debut in an ODI match.
