We have seen many changes in the cricket world over this period, time. Before, there were only test matches that two teams used to play when they faced each other. They all had the same attire except for their team’s logo on their clothes, which used to tell the difference between the two teams. Later, when the ODI format was introduced in 1992, players started wearing colored clothes to support their national teams. Below is the list of the top ten international cricket jerseys of all time:

1. New Zealand

New Zealand got its retro clothing back in style before COVID-19. Back in 1999, New Zealand got sudden fame for the color of its jersey, as the top part was green and the lower part was black. There was a big feather in the middle of their jersey, which represented their country’s flag. After that year, no one has ever seen Kiwis in their retro look, as they only wear black clothes with a small feather on their chest and a little white color on their collars. In an ODI series against Australia, the Kiwis got their retro look back, but they could not play more in that jersey as the series was got cancelled due to COVID. After COVID, the Kiwis did not go with the retro look; instead, they chose to remain in their regular jersey.

2. India

India has won many trophies in the field of cricket as the players do their best to remain at the top of the list. Over time, India has changed their jerseys many times, but the jersey India wore in the 2002 NatWest Trophy remains at the top of the list. The light blue color at the base and the tricolor of India’s national flag in the middle were the color of the moment. The jersey was not only famous because of its color, but India won the trophy in style under Dada’s captaincy. While standing at the pavilion, he removed his shirt after India won the match at the Lords.

3. Australia

Australia comes in third for the best jersey in international cricket. In the 1999 World Cup, Australia wore the best jersey of all time, as the fans also confirmed in 2019. The retro look still lives on in the hearts of Australian fans, as Australia wore a yellow livery with a bit of green on it. The jersey had three green shooting stars in the middle. Australia won the 1999 World Cup in that uniform, and it remains their team's best outfit. Australia wore the same retro look in 2020 in a home ODI match against New Zealand.

4. England

The amazing jersey England wore in the 2017 Champions Trophy is one of the best. England never remained with specific color on their jerseys, as they kept changing their color over the course of time. In 2017, they went with the blue and pink combination, and it remains one of the unique looks of their team. Jersey’s top was blue, and the lower part was pink; the middle part was a mixed shade, with purple in between. The logo on their chest represented their country in white.

5. South Africa

South Africa and the ICC tournaments do not go well with each other, as no matter how hard the South African team tries to win the trophies, they just cannot win. Even though they had players like AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn who could do miracles with their hands, they could not bring fame to their country. Their jersey for the 2017 Champions Trophy holds fifth place in the list of best jerseys of all time. The green and yellow color symbolise their national flag, and their whole uniform was a mixture of yellow and green without using any other color. The top was fully yellow with a hint of green, and the bottom was all green with a little yellow on the sides of their pants.

6. West Indies

Even though the West Indies team did not perform well in the 2019 World Cup, their jersey was highly praised. The West Indies uniform was fully maroon color, with a little yellow used for the name of their country on their jersey. They also had a small coconut tree on their chest and a big black shaded tree on their jersey, which represented their Carrabin culture. Unfortunately, with the best batters on their side, like Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, and Oshane Thomas, the West Indian team could not win the competition and was knocked out after winning only two matches out of nine.

7. Australia

Australia reflected again on the list of the best jerseys of all time. In the 2015 World Cup, Australia not only lifted the trophy but also won their fan’s hearts with the unique color of their jerseys. Their whole outfit was shining yellow, with a little hint of green at the edges of the uniform. Australia was written in the middle, below which were stars representing their national flag. The players tried their best to shine not only in their new kit but also on the field. That was their fifth trophy, which they lifted gloriously with their amazing team effort and great captaincy by Michael Clarke.

8. Pakistan

Over the period, green was the best color for the Pakistani team, as they only used green on their jerseys. In the 1999 World Cup, their kit became famous for its colour choice and design. The Pakistani team’s jersey was fully light green, with a big dark green star in the middle representing their national flag. Pakistan was written in Urdu font in the middle. They reached the finals with their amazing team efforts. Still, they could not win the trophy because the marvelous Australian side was their opposition, and they were roaring with victories after victories.

9. Sri Lanka

In the 2019 World Cup, Sri Lanka became famous for their recycled ocean plastic jersey. Even though Sri Lanka got an early exit from the series, his jersey remained in the hearts of not only Sri Lankan fans but others as well. They used the recycled ocean plastic kit for their tournament. They used balanced color with a combination of yellow and dark blue. Their whole kit was a mixture of a little bit of yellow, blue, light blue, and many other shades of blue, which were only visible with a close look.

10. India

In the 2014 T20 World Cup, India was again on the list of the best jerseys worn by any team. With all the ICC trophies, India is the only team to have all the ICC trophies. The blue color on their jersey was darker than the old ones. The rest of the color used on the jersey were the tricolor of the national flag. The pattern of the cloth was shiner than the previous ones, and there was heavy volume in the color texture of the jersey. India defeated many teams in that kit and reached the finals of the T20 World Cup but, unfortunately could not win.
