Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a recent development in the history of Pakistan Cricket. It started in 2016, and the matches were first played in UAE. Beginning in 2020, they are held in Pakistan. Despite its recent development, the league has seen records made by the players. The batters and bowlers have dominated the format equally.  Let us look at the top 10 bowlers among six PSL teams who have taken the most wickets in PSL.

1. W Riaz

Wahab Riaz is a Pakistani left arm pacer who started his career in Peshawar Zalmi in 2016. He played 77 games and took 103 wickets in 76 innings with an average of 21.29 and has an economy rate of 7.59.

2. H Ali

Hasan Ali is a right arm medium fast bowler playing with Peshawar Zalmi currently but he started his career with Islamabad United in 2016. He has taken 81 wickets till now playing 64 games with an average of 23.07 with an economy of 7.83.

3. SS Afridi

Shaheen Shah Afridi is a young left arm Pakistani fast bowler who made his PSL debut in 2018 with Lahore Qalandars. He has an average of 20.77 in 50 games and took 70 wickets with an economy of 7.63. He also has one five wicket haul.

4. S Khan

Shadab Khan is a legbreak Pakistani allrounder. This Islamabad United player had made his debut in the team in 2017 and has played 61 games and took 65 wickets with an average of 24.23 and an economy of 7.26. He took one five wicket haul.

5. F Ashraf

Faheem Ashraf is a bowling allrounder who made his international debut as well as PSL debut both in 2017 with the team Islamabad United. He had a economy of 7.94 in 49 matches and he has taken 64 wickets with an average of 20.71 with one five wicket haul.

6. M Nawaz

Mohammad Nawaz is a slow left arm orthodox allrounder. He started his international career in 2016. And he made his PSL debut in 2016 with Quetta Gladiators. Till now he has played 66 games and have taken 61 wickets with an average of 25.78 and an economy of 7.26.

7. S Tanvir

Sohail Tanvir is a left arm medium fast Pakistani pacer who has played for four different teams Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultan and Quetta Gladiators. Starting his PSL career in 2016 he has played 61 games and has taken 55 wickets with an average of 31.00 and an economy of 7.93.

8. M Amir

Mohammad Amir plays for Karachi Kings from 2016 and has played till 2021. This Pakistani pacer has played 59 games in PSL and has taken 54 wickets with an average of 29.59 and an economy of 7.38.

9. MI Tahir

Mohammad Imran Tahir is a legbreak googly bowler. This South African bowler plays for Multan Sultan from 2018. He has taken 53 wickets in 39 games with an average of 17.83 and an economy of 6.94.

10. SMSK Afridi

Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is a Pakistani legbreak googly bowler and an allrounder. He has played for different teams throughout his PSL career from 2016 including Karachi Kings, Multan Sultan, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. He has played 53 games and took 47 wickets with an average of 26.51 and an economy of 7.21
