Only a few athletes can serve their nation on the grandest stage, and even fewer can pass on their heritage to their sons. International cricket is the highest level at which a cricketer may demonstrate his abilities. To be selected for his country's cricket team, an athlete must put forth a lot of effort and attention. During cricket's existence, there have been several father-son teams.

 1. Sachin Tendulkar And Arjun Tendulkar

Despite after his departure in 2013, Sachin was, without a doubt, India's most famous cricketer. He is the sole batsman in history to hit 100 hundred in all forms and is the all-time greatest run-scorer in Tests and One-Day Internationals. Iftikhar represented India in three matches following three appearances for England. After being named captain at the tender age of 21, MAK Pataudi, known for his brave captaincy, led India in 40 Tests. In 1967, India defeated New Zealand in their maiden overseas Test under his leadership.

3. Peter Pollock And Shaun Pollock

Peter, the younger brother of South African great Graeme, was a fast bowler who collected 116 wickets in 28 Tests. His son, the incredibly gifted all-rounder Shaun, finished his tenure as South Africa's most prolific bowler and ninth-highest run-getter and has subsequently transitioned easily into television analysis.

 4. Lala Amarnath And Mohinder Amarnath

Lala Amarnath and Mohinder Amarnath are the finest distinguished father-son pair to have represented India. Lala is known for becoming India's first Test skipper following freedom. Mohinder, his son, played in 69 Tests and scored 4378 runs, featuring 11 hundred. Mohinder was a member of the side that won the World Cup at Lord's in 1983.

5. Chris Broad And Stuart Broad

Chris Broad appeared in 25 Tests and 34 One-Day Internationals for England, including three centuries in three consecutive Tests during the successful series. Stuart, his son, made his Test appearance in December 2007 and currently ranks third among England's all-time wicket-takers.

6. Micky Stewart And Alec Stewart 

Micky Stewart is a Surrey icon, with over 26,000 first-class runs despite only playing eight Test matches for England. His child Alec, on the other hand, developed into a brilliant wicketkeeper-batsman who also led England. Following 133 Tests, he quit in 2003 with 8463 runs, the third-highest for England.

7. Sam Curran, Tom Curran And Kevin Curran

Right now, Sam Curran and Tom Curran represent England in international cricket. Both siblings are all-around pace bowlers. They also played in the IPL 2020.  Kevin Curran played international cricket for Zimbabwe. Kevin has a second son, Ben Curran. Ben is a Zimbabwean cricketer who competes in the domestic league.

Sunil Gavaskar's son Rohan followed in his father's footsteps as a great cricketer who serves his country. Rohan appeared in 11 One-Day Internationals for the “Men in Blue,” scoring a single half-century.
