1. Zak Crawley

Zak Crawley, Right-Hander English Batsman, scored 267 against Pakistan at The Rose Bowl, Southampton, in 2020. In the third test of the series, Zak came in 1st down to bat and scored 267 in the first inning of the match. Zak took England to a solid position to win the game. But unfortunately, Pakistan Manage to draw this test match. But Zak’s inning makes this test special. It’s the first double century of Zak’s Career.

2. Denis Compton

Denis Compton, Right-Hander Englishman, scored 278 against Pakistan at Trent Bridge, Nottingham 1954. Denis Compton is one of the finest batsmen of his time, with an average of 50 plus in test cricket. Denis played 78 test matches for England. He scored 5807 runs with an average of 50.06. Denis Compton is the grandfather of English Cricketer Nick Compton.

3. Peter May

Peter May, Right-Hander English Batter, scored 285 against West Indies at Edgbaston, Birmingham, in 1957. It is the only double century of Peter May’s Career. Peter played 66 test matches for England and scored 4537 runs with an average of 46.77.

4. Ed. Foster

R.E. Foster, nick-named Tip Foster, was a Right-Hander Englishman, Scored 287 against Australia in SCG, Australia, in 1903. This double-century comes on his test debut and, 110 years later, remains the Highest Individual Score on Test Debut. Foster only played 8 test matches for England. Due to health issues, Foster Died in 1914 at the age of only 36.

5. Alastair Cook

Sir Alastair Cook is the Former test captain of the England team and One of the best Left-Hander batters of the game. Cook scored 294 against India in Edgbaston, Birmingham, in 2011. The Former Captain played 161 test matches for England and scored 12472 runs, the most by any left-hander batsman in test cricket.

6. John Edrich

John Edrich, a Left-Hander batsman, scored 310 runs against New Zealand in Headingley, Leeds, in 1965. John hit 57 boundaries to reach 310 and it’s still a record. Most boundaries are scored by a player in an inning. John played 77 test matches for England and scored 5138 runs.

7. Andrew Sandham

Andrew Sandham, Right-Hander Englishman, scored 325 against West Indies at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica. Andrew Scored 325 at the age of 40 and his last test match. And he played 10 hours in this inning. Andrew only played 14 test matches and scored 879 runs.

8. Graham Gooch

Graham Gooch, Former England Captain, and Right-Hander batter, Scored 333 against India at Iconic Lords, London, in 1990. Gooch played 118 test matches for England and scored 8900 runs. Graham Gooch is England’s one of the finest batsmen. This inning of Gooch remains one of the Great innings at Lords, and Graham Gooch Records the most runs in A test match, 456 runs (333 & 123). And to date, he holds the record.

9. Wally Hammond

Wally Hammond, Right-Hand English Batter, scored 336 against New Zealand at Eden Park, Auckland, in 1933. Wally played 85 test matches for England and scored 7249 runs with an average of 58.45. Wally considers one of the best England Batsmen.

10. Sir Leonard Hutton

Sir Leonard Hutton, Right-Hand English Batter, Scored 364 Against Australia at The Oval, London, in 1938. Leonard Played 79 test matches for England and scored 6971 with an average of 56.22. Sir Leonard Hutton is “One Of The Greatest Batsmen Of The Game.”
