On the 8th of December, 2011, the West Indies played the fourth match of their tour of India. The hosts elected to bat first in Indore and put on a mammoth score of 418 on the board. Indian openers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag got off to a great start as they stitched a 176-run partnership. Gautam Gambhir got out on 67, while Virender Sehwag scored a classy double ton, scoring 219 of just 149 deliveries. Suresh Raina, the number 3 batter, scored 55 runs off 44 balls. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli contributed with 27 and 23, respectively, at the end, taking India's total to 418.

The West Indies toured India in 2019 and played the second ODI of the series on December 18th. In Visakhapatnam, the West Indies elected to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, the Indian openers smashed the West Indies bowlers everywhere. Rohit Sharma scored 159 of 138, for which he got the man of the match, and KL Rahul scored 102 of 104 deliveries. India played the third ODI of their tour to West Indies and USA on the 1st of August, 2023.  A young Indian team led by Hardik Pandya played a dominant brand of cricket against the hosts. India batted first and scored 351 runs for the loss of five wickets. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill opened the innings, scoring 77 and 85, respectively. Sanju Samson came as a number-four batter and smashed 51 runs off 41 balls. Hardik Pandya, the skipper, scored 70*off 52 deliveries, including four 4s and five sixes. In the fourth ODI of the West Indies tour of India, the visitors won the toss and elected to field first in Vadodara.  Openers Robin Uthappa and Sourav Ganguly stitched a 47-run stand before Robin fell for 28. In came, the captain, Rahul Dravid, at no.3, and played a great knock of 78 runs. The no.4 batter, and the master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, yet again scored a fine century off just 76 balls, including ten fours and a six MS Dhoni, at the back end of the innings, made 40 runs at a strike rate of 200, including three sixes and a boundary, and took India to 341.

On the June 26th, 2009, India played the first ODI of their tour of the West Indies. India batted first and scored 339. Dinesh Karthik, the opener, scored 67 runs, followed by Yuvraj Singh, who played a brilliant knock of 130, including ten boundaries and seven 6s.  Skipper MS Dhoni scored 41 runs while Yusuf Pathan, at the back end of the innings, scored 40 runs and took India to 339 runs at the end of 50 overs.
