Some of them have even captained the Indian cricket team. Here two wicket-keepers are included in the world cup winning squad too.

1. MS Dhoni

The first player in this article list is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is a great player born in Jharkhand. He debuted late on international stages but was one of the finest hands behind the stumps. He is a great leader, along with a wicketkeeper. He leads the chart of most catches, stumpings, and dismissals. He is a calm and composed person and is known as captain cool. He used to bat down the order but has more than 10000 runs comprising all formats. He has more than 100 half-centuries comprising all formats. He led his franchise to 4 title wins in Indian Premier League.

2. Dinesh Karthik  

Dinesh comes second on our list. He is still a current player on the Indian cricket team. He has recently participated in the t20 world cup. He has played 26 tests, 94 one-day matches, and 56 T20 internationals. He has an average of 25, 30, and 29, respectively. He did 72 stumpings in his career. Due to the image and senior players, he got fewer chances in the playing eleven. He performed well on domestic stages and in Indian Premier League too.

3. Nayan Mongia

The former Indian player, Nayan Mongia, is the third on the list. He is a former player who hailed from Gujarat. He has played 44 test matches and 140 one-day matches. 5. Syed Kirmani

He represented India for 88 test matches and 49 ODI matches. He played his last test match in 1986 against Australia and his last ODI match in 1986 against Australia. 6. Chandrakant Pandit

Chandrakant Pandit is the final participant on our list. He is one of Maharashtra's best wicketkeepers and batters. He has appeared in 36 one-day matches and five tests for the Indian cricket team. 7. Sadanand Viswanath

Sadanand Viswanath is the next former Indian player. Another player from the state of Karnataka represented the national side. He represented India in the late 1980s. He played 3 tests and 22 ODI for Team India. He did not perform well in those matches and hence was not backed. He played his last test in 1985 against Sri Lanka and his last one-day against West Indies in 1988.

9. Parthiv Patel 

The next player, Parthiv Patel, is a Gujarati-born player. He is a former player who used to participate in the state of Gujarat on domestic stages.
