Zimbabwe national cricket team played its first-ever test match in 1992 against India in Harare and has played only 117 Test matches ever since then. They are currently ranked number 10 in the ICC men’s test rankings and have not played a Test match since mid-2021 when they played against Bangladesh. Making an international Test debut is a very big achievement for cricketers and many Zimbabweans have done so for their country. Doing so at a young age is an even bigger deal. He is the youngest Zimbabwean to make his Test debut for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He made his debut at the age of 17 years and 352 days against the West Indies at the Harare. He played 38 Test matches for Zimbabwe national cricket team before his retirement in 2018.
2. Elton Chigumbura
Elton Chigumbura is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who played as an all-rounder for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He is the second youngest player to make his Test debut for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He made his debut at the age of 18 years and 53 days against Sri Lanka at Harare on 6th May 2004.
3. Tatenda Taibu
Tatenda Taibu is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who played as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He is the third youngest Zimbabwean to make his Test debut for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He is the fifth youngest Zimbabwean to make his Test debut for the Zimbabwe national cricket team.
