One of the numerous lucrative T20 competitions in the world is the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Indian Premier League's inaugural season began in 2008. Gayle's storm and guest appearances from Dilshan and Ab De Villiers helped Virat Kohli's Rcb squad win by 263 runs. This IPL innings from 2013 still holds the record for the most incredible team total and hasn't been surpassed.

3. Fastest Century – Chris Gayle, 100 In 30 Balls

Against Pune Warriors India, Chris Gayle also broke the previous record for the fastest century, scoring 175* off 66 balls. The fastest century in IPL history was scored by Gayle, who scored 100 points in just 30 deliveries. 4. Best Bowling Figures- Alzarri Joseph, 6-12

Apart from him, Sohail Tanvir and Adam Zampa have each claimed six wickets, but he has managed to hold onto the record thanks to his more economical play.

5. Lowest Scores Defended – CSK Against Kings XI Punjab

The lowest IPL total ever was successfully defended by the Chennai Super Kings team. CSK, one of the finest teams in the IPL, held Kings XI Punjab to a total of 116 defence in the league's second season. The CSK openers had a quick start, scoring 50 runs in 6 overs, but the middle-order batsmen couldn't follow. They received a bowl-out score of 116 runs. KXIP players were overwhelmed by the bowlers of CSK from the first ball. After losing eight wickets in 20 overs, KXIP's batting innings ended at 92.

6. Most Significant Victory – Mumbai Indians Against Delhi Daredevils

In the Indian Premier League account, Mumbai Indians currently hold the record for the most significant win margin. During the 2017 IPL season, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Daredevils with 146 runs. MI achieved two hundred and twelve runs in the first innings on Kieran Pollard's 65 (35) and Simmons' 66. (43). The Delhi batsmen's reaction saw them fall short of the goal, reaching only 66 runs with no further wickets. Karn Sharma and Harbhajan Singh both took three wickets to help MI win. Mumbai Indians broke the previous record for the most significant victory in IPL history with this victory. The highest score before that was 144 by RCB vs GL.

7. Most Number of Wickets (Overall) – DJ Bravo, 174 Wickets In 156 Matches

With 174 wickets in 156 games and his best figures of 22/4, Dwayne Bravo, considered one of the best bowlers in short overs cricket, has taken the most wickets in IPL history. Lasith Malinga and Amit Mishra complete the top three with 170 and 166 wickets, respectively, leaving Dwayne Bravo as the sole bowler in the Indian Premier League with 170+ wickets.

8. Most Runs (Overall) – Virat Kohli, 6390 Runs In 204 Innings

India's T20 expert Virat Kohli leads all scorers in the Indian Premier League's history with 6390 runs scored in 204 innings. Four Indian players are included in the top five, including Suresh Raina (5719) and Rohit Sharma (5719), who both finish behind Shikhar Dhawan with 5981 runs (5528).

9. Most Significant Partnership – Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers

In a crucial match against Gujarat Lions to advance to the IPL 2016 playoffs after Chris Gayle's early exit, AB De Villiers joined Virat Kohli at the crease. They saved RCB with a record-breaking 229-run stand in 96 deliveries with the captain. AB de Villiers slashed 129 runs off 52 balls while Virat Kohli slowly scored 109 runs off 55 deliveries. The same combination also set the previous record of 215 runs, but their 229-run partnership still stands as the highest in all T20 tournaments.

10. Most Sixes – Chris Gayle, 367

Chris Gayle, who currently holds this record, was expected to be at the top of the list. And no one seems likely to be able to surpass his record of 367 sixes very soon. Because Ab De Villiers, who has 245 sixes, is just over 100 sixes short of breaking the record.
