Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the franchises in the Indian Premier League who have won the title. They won their maiden IPL title in 2016 by defeating RCB in Chinnaswamy Stadium. They were known as the Deccan Chargers previously and played certain years of IPL. Their home ground is in Hyderabad. Currently, Aiden Makram is leading the side. David Warner was their most successful skipper. In the Indian Premier League 2023 season, they were outcast by other teams due to their poor batting and bowling performances.

1. Bhuvneshwar Kumar    

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is India’s one of the frontline bowler in limited-overs cricket. BCCI later limited him to limited over cricket owing to his injuries in the test format. He is known for his swing deliveries and quick wickets at the start of the game. He can deliver during the death overs too. In ICC World Cup 2021 and 2022, in the absence of Bumrah, he led the bowling attack of Team India. Currently, he is preparing for the 50 over world cup which is scheduled for later this year. Bhuvi has played 129 matches for SRH.

2. David Warner    

David Warner is the second player in our story. David often opens the innings for his team. He is known for his orthodox playing technique and he has scored a lot in international cricket for his country. In limited format he still delivers and once upon a time, he has even led his team in international stages. He is facing certain shortcomings in test format and rumours were there about him quitting the longest format of the game. But his decent performances in recent matches especially in Ashes have kept the fire of test cricket in him alive.  He has played 95 matches.

3. Shikhar Dhawan    

Shikhar Dhawan plays for the Punjab franchise in the IPL currently. Before playing for Punjab, he was a regular opener for the SRH franchise. He has played many crucial knocks for his team. He was even included in the squad that won the first IPL title. Shikhar is going through a rough patch and his batting performance has declined over the months. Hence, he is not getting into the plans of the BCCI. Everyone believes he is in the plans of BCCI for the ODI world cup scheduled this year in India. He has played 86 matches for SRH.

4. Rashid Khan    

Rashid is one of the important assets for whichever team he plays. In Indian Premier League, he started his career with the SRH franchise. This franchise has molded him into one of the finest cricketers. He is a regular performer for his national team even. For the last 2 seasons, he is playing for Gujarat Titans and has been a crucial member of the team. He has performed as an all-rounder. He has played 76 matches for SRH.

5. Kane Williamson    

Kane is the captain cool of the Kiwi national cricket side. He is known for his cool and composed mind in tough situations. He has been unlucky throughout his career, as the team he led has suffered a loss in knockout or finals of the tournament. But he managed to bring fame to his country by winning the inaugural season of WTC by winning against the Indian team. If we talk about his performances in IPL, he has played most matches under the SRH franchise and led the team multiple times. But currently, he is signed by Gujarat Titans. He too has played 76 matches for SRH.

6. Naman Ojha  

Naman Ojha was the regular wicketkeeper of the SRH franchise. He has performed very well for their franchise. He used to bat in the middle order and often finished the game. He made many memorable fifties and thirties. He even represented the Indian cricket team in international matches but not in all three formats. In the late 2010s, he represented his country in the test format of the game. He has played 56 matches for the franchise.

7. Karan Sharma   

Karn Sharma is one of the leg spinners who has represented many franchises in the Indian Premier League. He has won trophies in whichever team he has played. He bats down the order. By profession, he is a leg spinner. He has played 46 articles.

8. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey is one of the regular players who played for the SRH franchise. He represented them for quite a good number of matches. His good IPL performances gave him the call for the Indian cricket team. He then represented the Indian team in international matches but only in limited over games. His hundred against Australia in the 50-over format is one of the memorable knocks. He has played 45 matches.

9. Deepak Hooda    

Indian player Deepak Hooda made his international debut in 2022. He is one of the Indian cricket players to record a century in the game's shortest format. He was chosen for the world cup due to his strong performance, however, he was ineffective. His IPL career demonstrates his prowess with the bat. He start ed bowling later on and can bowl 1-2 overs in between. He is working with the LSG franchise right now. In the 2023 season, he could not deliver a strong performance. He has played 45 matches.

10. Abhisekh Sharma

Abhisekh Sharma is a young talent for the SRH franchise. They need to shape him as a future 3-dimension player. He is good at batting as of now. He did some part-time bowling during IPL 2023. If we discuss his performance in the recent IPL season, he has been an asset to his team. By seeing his performances, he is expected to do well in the future for the team. Abhisekh might be in the plans of BCCI and may get the maiden call for any bilateral series. He has played 44 matches for SRH.
