SRH is one of the teams which participates in the Indian Premier League. The team used to participate under the name of Deccan Chargers previously. Later the sponsors changed and eventually, a new team SRH was formed. David Warner remains the only SRH captain to win the IPL title. This was possible in the year 2016. In 2018 they had a good season but unfortunately, they were defeated in the finals.
1. David Warner
David Warner is the first player of our story. David is one of the good foreign batsmen of the Indian Premier League. He has scored the most runs for the SRH franchise and even features in the list of most run-getter in this tournament. He has got an orange cup multiple times too. He has the record of scoring the most number of fifties in the Indian Premier League. He has played many crucial knocks for SRH and is even considered the most successful captain. David has scored more than 400 runs for his team.
2. Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar was one of the most dependable opening batsmen for Team India. He was known for his crucial knocks in the ICC tournaments. He was a three-format player but soon he was limited to limited over formats. Before a few months, he was given the responsibility of leading the second group of team India against the associate nations. India performed well under him. Even in IPL, he leads many teams and has performed well as a batter. Dhawan has scored more than 2500 runs for his franchise.
3. Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson is a player from the New Zealand cricket team. He is a cool-minded person and is one of the members of the Fab Four of modern-day cricket. He is one of the leading run scorers for the New Zealand cricket team. In SRH, he had a good time with the bat. It is unfortunate owing to team selection, he has to be benched. For the past two years, he has been playing for Gujarat Titans and is currently in rehab for the injury he sustained in IPL 2023. He has scored more than 2100 runs for his team.
4. Manish Pandey
Manish Pandey is an Indian cricket player who represented the team in limited-over formats. He has been included in the squads for matches against associate nations and sometimes against SENA countries. He is a middle-order player and was used to fix him in the number four position. He initially performed well but later new comers performed well and sealed the spot. In IPL he has been a regular player for SRH until he was released by the franchise before the mega auction. He presently plays for LSG. He has scored 1300 runs for his team.
5. Jonny Bairstow
Jonny is an English player on our list. He is a wicketkeeper-batsman and hence adds a new dimension. His career in IPL started with SRH and has been going pretty fine. He has played many crucial knocks, some of which were match-winning too. His international records are also satisfactory. He is a three-format player for his nation. In test cricket, he has been performing well and last season of WTC, he scored a lot. Jonny has scored 1000 runs for SRH.
6. Abhisekh Sharma
Abhisekh Sharma is an uncapped young Indian player. SRH was one of the franchises to invest in this lad. He was selected for this franchise at a young age. SRH was in search of a dependable all-rounder for a long time. This was seen in Abhisekh Sharma. He has performed well with the bat and batted in the middle order of the playing eleven. In IPL 2023, SRH tried him with bowling and he delivered some overs in between the matches. He has scored 800 runs for SRH.
7. Moises Henriques
One of the Australian players to participate in the Indian Premier League is Moises Henriques. He is the seventh-highest run-getter for the SRH franchise. He used to bat in the middle order of the batting unit of SRH. He was a foreign all-rounder option. He used to do medium-pace bowling. He was with SRH for a long time and has made many positive contributions to his team. For Australia, he has played many limited-over games. He has scored around 600 runs for his team.
8. Rahul Tripathi
Rahul is a good batsman for both franchises and the Indian cricket team. He keeps wickets whenever required. He has been an aggressive batter from starting. He came into the limelight for his performances during 2 years of RPS time. He then represented the Indian national side for some matches in limited formats. If we discuss his current IPL season performances, he had played some good knocks and was in good touch with the bat. Hopefully, he may get chances in the playing eleven owing to the injuries of another wicketkeeper in the team. He has scored around 600 runs for his team.
9. Aiden Makram
Aiden Makram is a South African player on our list. He has joined the SRH franchise lately but still features in this list. This shows his skills as a batter. For the last two seasons, he has been the best batsman for the SRH franchise. Apart from batsman, he has good leadership skills and has been captaining the franchise. He is even the limited-side captain of his national side. But he plays all three formats of the game for South Africa. Aiden has scored around 500 runs.
10. Naman Ojha
Naman Ojha is a capped Indian player. He is a right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman. He usually bats in the middle order. Representing India in the late 2010s, he has been unlucky in terms of playing in the presence of other experienced players, he was benched most of the time. SRH identified his talent and kept him as their regular wicketkeeper for years. Apart from IPL, he continued to play the domestic tournaments in the country. Naman has scored around 500 runs.
