Sunrises Hyderabad is one of the successful franchises in the Indian Premier League. They won their maiden IPL title in 2016 by defeating RCB in their home. They aren’t playing the IPL since its beginning. They were known as the Deccan Chargers previously. Their home ground is in Hyderabad. Currently, Aiden Makram is leading the side. In the Indian Premier League 2023 season, they haven’t performed according to their caliber and are positioned lower in the points table.
1. Rashid Khan
Rashid is one of the important assets for whichever team he plays. He can be a potential leader for his national side even. Later he developed his batting skills even and is known for finishing the innings. He bats down the order in the playing eleven. If we talk about his performance in IPL 2023, he had a good season with the bowl. He almost won the purple cap of the season. He has become of the regular players in the IPL. SRH holds credit for shaping his franchise cricket.
2. Rahul Tripathi
Rahul is a good batsman for both franchises and the Indian cricket team. He keeps wickets whenever required. He has been an aggressive batter from starting. He came into the limelight for his performances during 2 years of RPS time. He then represented the Indian national side for some matches in limited formats. If we discuss his current IPL season performances, he had played some good knocks and was in good touch with the bat. Hopefully, he may get chances in the playing eleven owing to the injuries of another wicketkeeper in the team.
3. Washington Sundar
Sundar is another all-rounder on our list. He has been a great player both with bat and ball. His batting and bowling were identified in test cricket when he debuted for Team India. He is one of the regular players in test cricket and even plays in the playing eleven for the home matches in a spinner friendly grounds. His memorable series was BGT in Australia, where an inexperienced Indian side won the trophy.
4. David Warner
David Warner is the first player of our story. He is an excellent batsman in terms of opener. He plays regularly for all three formats for his national side Australia. He is a good player of both spin and pace. He is one of those batsmen who love to play on Indian pitches. Records show that he has scored a lot for many years. In IPL 2023, he played for the Delhi franchise. As per his reputation, he scored a lot and was one of the batters in the top run-getter list.
5. Aiden Makram
Aiden is one of the South African players who play for the SRH franchise. He later became a format player for his nation. In IPL 2023, he led his team. We cannot make sure of his potential as a captain as the team did not do well this season under him. Apart from captaincy, he batted well for his team this season.
6. Kane Williamson
Kane is the ex-skipper of the New Zealand cricket team. If we talk about his performances in IPL. He has spent a good time under the Hyderabad franchise. But he was benched too for a good number of matches owing to the team combination. But in limited appearances too, he has shown his skills to his best. Currently, he plays for the GT franchise. But during the initial stage of IPL 2023, he sustained an injury owing to fielding efforts. He was then ruled out from IPL and now he has been ruled out from World Cup 2023 even.
7. Moises Henriques
Moises is one of the Australian players who played in the Indian Premier League. He has been loyal as he has played only for SRH. He is a proper all-rounder SRH had in as a playing eleven. He has done many destructions of opponent bowlers with his bat. He had the potential to bowl some course-changing bowling spells during middle overs. He had a good career IPL career playing for the SRH franchise.
8. Vijay Shankar
Vijay Shankar is one of the all-rounders who started his career in the IPL under the SRH franchise. SRH had big hands in shaping him as a three-dimensional player. He began as a batting all-rounder in the playing eleven. Later he developed himself into a part-time medium-pace bowler too. He was selected over Rayudu in the 2019 world cup held in England because of his ability to bat and bowl. Unfortunately, he could not live up to the tag. Later he was dropped from the team owing to lousy form in cricket. In the 2023 season, he had some excellent innings with bat and made many contributions while batting. Currently, he is engaged with the GT franchise.
9. Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj is one of the best all-rounder India has ever produced. His father is also a cricketer. He played for Punjab in domestic and then got selected for India nationals. He scored many runs and took many wickets. He has many records under his name. He is a player who performs well during ICC tournaments. He is known for his aggressive batting in t20 formats. In IPL even he played for many franchises and end up getting runs for every team he participated in. One of the setbacks was his health ailment during his career.
10. Heinrich Klassen
Henry Klassen is a South African wicketkeeper who still plays for the SRH franchise. He has been a middle-order batsman and used to anchor innings most of the time. The team consists of good foreign batters and he was one of them. Due to the presence of another wicketkeeper in the playing eleven, he used to field. In IPL 2023, he played the innings against his game of play. He is on the list of batters with the highest strike rate in the 2023 edition.
