The Indian Premier League is all set to take place on 26th March. This edition will have a new look in terms of several things. The mega auction has changed the face of all franchises. Many top Indian and overseas players are going to donning New Jersey. In IPL, we have often seen how the mixture of experience and youth has done wonders. However, many times we have seen how various top international players warm the bench as they couldn't find a place in the playing xi. In This year's edition, we might see some top players not getting any matches throughout the tournament.

1. Ajinkya Rahane

Ajinkya Rahane is a known name of the Indian Cricket Team. He has played more than a hundred matches in the IPL. However, his form has gone down in the last two years. Last season he featured in just a few matches for the Delhi capitals. Rahane is rooting for KKR, he might find it difficult to get a place in Xi.

2. Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav is a red-ball specialist. He plays only in test cricket for the Indian cricket team. Although, he has enough experience in the IPL. He has featured in more than hundred IPL matches. Yadav isn't a T20 player anymore, and he is likely to sit on a bench throughout the tournament.

3. Karn Sharma

Karn Sharma is one of those luckiest players who has got an opportunity to play for India in all three formats. Sharma has played a good number Of matches in the IPL. He has been part of IPL winning teams four times.

Sharma hasn't seen playing enough cricket nowadays. He might not get any matches in this year's IPL.

4. David Willey

Willey is an all-rounder of the English Cricket team. He has played in the IPL also for Chennai. Willey has been picked up by the RCB this year. Although, he will find it hard to find a place in the team in the presence of Hazelwood. However, unavailability of some overseas players can open opportunity for this player.

5. Varun Aaron

Varun is known for bowling at a raw pace constantly. He has played for the Indian cricket team in all formats. Varun has played more than Fifty matches in IPL. He has played IPL for various franchises. This year he is likely to not get any matches due to the availability of star players.

6. Adam Milne

Milne, The kiwi fast bowler, has a tendency to bowl at a serious pace. The former Mumbai Indians player has been picked up by the champion of the previous year audition. Milne might find it tough to get a chance due to the presence of star overseas players.

7. Mandeep Singh

The former Punjab player Mandeep will be donning Delhi jersey this year. The right-handed batter has been picked up by Delhi for a middle-order. However, he might not get any chance due to the presence of youngsters like Yash and Bharath. However, if Delhi needed one experience player in playing xi they can surely go for Mandeep.

8. Tim Southee

Tim Southee is a regular player of the New Zealand cricket team in all formats. He has played in the IPL for Multiple franchises. Southee is part of the Kolkata franchise this season. But the presence of star overseas players might stop Southee to get into playing Xi.

9. Evin Lewis

West Indies cricket is a powerhouse of T20 cricket. Lewis is another exciting batter of this team. He is really an experienced player of this format who can contribute a lot. However, his IPL franchises has solid top-order, which might prevent him from Playing Xi.

10. Glenn Philips

Glenn Philips is one of the rarest cricketers of this era who has the ability to contribute in all four departments of the cricket. The wicket-keeper batter can bowl at any point of the match. Philips is multi-talented, but still, his chances of playing a single game is very tough. One reason behind this is the availability of top-quality Indian players.
